Altuve went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional RBI in a 9-1 win against the Angels on Sunday.

Altuve singled in the first inning, doubled home a run as part of a five-run second and added a two-run homer in the seventh to chase Angels starter Tucker Davidson. The 32-year-old is in the midst of a scorching 10-game stretch, during which he's gone 17-for-40 with three long balls and six doubles. The recent uptick has boosted his season line to .292/.377/.524, with his .901 OPS ranking eighth in MLB.

Lopez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and an RBI in a 3-2 win Sunday in Detroit.

Lopez had an RBI single in the fourth, singled and stole second in the sixth and walked in the eighth. It was just the second time he reached base safely three times in a game since July 7. He is now 13-for-16 in stolen base attempts on the season and has six steals since the beginning of August.

Semien went 0-for-3 with a run scored, a walk and a stolen base in a 5-2 loss Sunday in Boston.

Semien walked, stole second and scored in Texas' two-run first inning. It was his 21st stolen base this season but only his second since July 31. The 31-year-old has reached base safely in 16 straight contests, posting a .313/.384/.547 line with 16 runs scored and eight walks in that span.

Miller is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Miller will sit for the second time in the series while Josh Naylor logs another start at first base to open up the designated-hitter spot for Jose Ramirez. Meanwhile, Tyler Freeman will enter the lineup for the first time since Aug. 26 to spell Ramirez at third base.

Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

It's the third straight game on the bench for Haggerty, who returned to the lineup Wednesday after missing some time with a finger injury. It's unclear if the 28-year-old aggravated the injury or if he's simply fallen out of favor for playing time. Taylor Trammell will start in right field and bat ninth Sunday.

Torres is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

After going 2-for-11 with a double, a run and an RBI while starting at second base in each of the past three games, Torres will get a breather for the series finale. Rookie Oswald Peraza will spell Torres at the keystone.

Hernandez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Rangers, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Hernandez is 9-for-26 with a home run, two doubles, five walks, five RBI and six runs over his past eight games, but he'll head to the bench Sunday for the second time in Boston's past four contests. Rob Refsnyder will take over in center field and bat seventh.

Biggio will start at second base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

The utility man will make his third start in four games, this time filling in at the keystone for Santiago Espinal (hand) after making his previous two starts at first base. Espinal is considered day-to-day with the hand injury, so if he's available to return at some point during the Blue Jays' upcoming series with the Orioles that begins Monday, Biggio will likely see his playing time take a hit.

Espinal (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Even though Espinal escaped with no structural damage to his left hand after being struck by a pitch in Saturday's 4-1 win, he'll be on the bench for the series finale while he recovers from a painful contusion. Cavan Biggio steps in at second base for Espinal, who can be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's doubleheader in Baltimore.

Arroyo started at first base and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 5-3 win over Texas.

Arroyo became the first Red Sox player to make consecutive starts at first base -- one against a left-hander and one against right-hander -- over the last week of games. Just as it looks like he might get the bulk of playing time at first, the Red Sox will call up first base prospect Triston Casas on Sunday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports. The lefty-swinging Casas is expected to make his major-league debut Sunday against Texas right-hander Dane Dunning.
