Franchy Cordero will replace Hernandez in center field, the primary position Hernandez is expected to play moving forward after second baseman Trevor Story returned from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Ortiz was promoted to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Ortiz earned his promotion to Triple-A after he batted .380 sith 11 home runs, 41 RBI, 40 runs and a stolen base over 137 at-bats in 34 games with Double-A Bowie since the All-Star break. Harold Castro 2B | KC
Tigers' Harold Castro: Drives in five Sunday
Castro went 2-for-5 with a double and five RBI in Sunday's 9-8 win over the Rangers.
Castro drove in two runs on a fourth inning single, then cleared the bases on a double in the sixth. The 28-year-old has been playing well and is seeing regular time at first base with Spencer Torkelson in Triple-A. Torkelson still figures prominently into the team's future plans, so it remains to be seen what Castro's role will be beyond this year. He should still be a decent fantasy asset for the remainder of 2022, however.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Reaches double-digit home runs
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.
Rengifo took Ross Stripling deep to right with Shohei Ohtani on base in the third inning to put the Angels up 2-0. Los Angeles would not look back as it won the game 8-3. Rengifo has a modest six-game hitting streak and could be a productive middle infield option in deep leagues down the stretch, as he is slashing .268/.300/.427 on the season.

Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Not starting Sunday
Torres is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the A's, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Sam Haggerty LF | TEX
Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Out again Sunday
Haggerty (finger) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Romy Gonzalez 2B | BOS
White Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Third straight turn as leadoff man
Gonzalez will start at second base and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
With usual leadoff man Luis Robert (wrist) sidelined for the entire series against the Diamondbacks and with the White Sox having an opening in the infield following Yoan Moncada's (hamstring) recent move to the injured list, Gonzalez will make a third straight turn out of the table-setting spot. He was able to capitalize on the opportunity in Saturday's 10-5 loss, going 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run. With Josh Harrison set to serve as Moncada's primary replacement, Gonzalez could end up settling in as the White Sox's main option at second base. Gonzalez's main challenger for playing time, Leury Garcia, returned from an IL stint of his own Saturday and is slashing a lowly .209/.234/.271 in 292 plate appearances on the season.

Mark Mathias 2B | CIN
Rangers' Mark Mathias: Not starting Sunday

Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Twins' Jorge Polanco: Not starting Sunday
Polanco (kneecap) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
The 29-year-old exited Saturday's contest with left patellar tendinitis, and he'll be held out of the starting nine for at least one game. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and Polanco should be considered day-to-day. Nick Gordon will move to the keystone while Jake Cave starts in left field.
