Andrus went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Royals.
Andrus put the White Sox ahead with a solo shot in the fifth inning and added another RBI on a groundout in the seventh. The homer was his first since joining Chicago and his ninth of the year. The shortstop is slashing .239/.299/.372 through 117 games overall, but he's hit a little better (.250) in 11 games with the White Sox. Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Twins' Jorge Polanco: Remains sidelined Wednesday
Polanco (kneecap) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Polanco will sit out a fourth consecutive game while he continues to contend with left patellar tendinitis, affording Nick Gordon another start in the middle infield. The Twins are off Thursday, so the team will presumably wait and see how Polanco is feeling physically in advance of Friday's series opener with the White Sox before having a better sense of whether he'll require a stint on the injured list.

Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Returns to lineup
Haggerty (finger) is starting Wednesday against the Tigers.
Haggerty was out of the lineup for the last three games due to a finger injury, but he'll start in left field and bat ninth Wednesday. Since the start of August, he's hit .320 with two home runs, two doubles, eight runs, seven RBI and five stolen bases.

Brujan headed to the minors in early July and slashed .302/.378/.460 with four homers, 28 runs, 14 RBI and nine stolen bases over 31 games following his demotion. The 24-year-old should serve as a utility man for the big-league club after Brandon Lowe (triceps) was placed on the 15-day injured list.

Tony Kemp 2B | MIN
Athletics' Tony Kemp: Rakes out of top of order
Kemp went 3-for-4 with a two-run double, another two-bagger and two runs in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.
Kemp enjoyed a much-needed breakout out of the top of the order, and his third-inning two-bagger plated Nick Allen and Cal Stevenson to snap a 4-4 tie. The veteran is still plagued by a lackluster .226/.302/.310 slash line, but he's now laced a career-high 21 doubles and is seven RBI away from eclipsing the career-best 37 he tallied a season ago.
