Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Swipes 12th base in win

Haggerty went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Padres on Wednesday.

Haggerty was able to make some modest contributions out of the No. 8 spot in the order, with his stolen base extending his career-best total to 12 in that category. The 28-year-old now has reached safely in five of his last six games, and he's carrying an impressive .284/.346/.461 slash line across 157 plate appearances.

  • Owen Miller 2B | CHC

Guardians' Owen Miller: Out of Thursday's lineup

Miller is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.

Miller is riding a seven-game hitting streak and has gone 10-for-27 (.370) during that stretch, but he will open on the bench Thursday with manager Terry Francona wanting to get another left-hander in the lineup against opposing starter Lance Lynn.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Yankees' Gleyber Torres: RBI and steal against Boston

Torres went 3-for-5 with one RBI, one run scored and one steal in Wednesday's 5-3 victory over Boston.

Torres drove in a run on a single with two outs in the fifth before a throwing error allowed him and Aaron Judge to score. The second baseman has been heating up in his last five games with a .667 slugging percentage and nine RBI over 24 at-bats. The 25-year-old has also recorded three steals in his last seven games.

  • Marcus Semien 2B | NYM

Rangers' Marcus Semien: Homers in loss

Semien went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 8-7 loss to Oakland.

Semien gave the Rangers an early lead with a second-inning homer, his 23rd of the season and the second three-run shot in the last four games. He's hit safely in four straight and has a .952 OPS through 14 games in September.

  • Mark Mathias 2B | CIN

Rangers' Mark Mathias: Goes deep again Wednesday

Mathias went 2-for-5 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to Oakland.

Mathias plated the Rangers' first run with a solo homer to left field in the second inning and added an RBI single in the following frame. The long ball came one day after Mathias went deep twice, and he's gone 5-for-10 with four runs and six RBI over his past two games. The hot stretch has pushed his season slash line to .306/371/.645 through 70 plate appearances.

  • Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR

Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Three hits, two runs in win

Gimenez went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Angels.

Gimenez entered Wednesday in a 1-for-17 skid, though that one hit was a home run. The second baseman was able to score in the fifth and seventh innings, with the second of his runs tying the game at 3-3. He's produced four multi-hit efforts in September and is now slashing .300/.370/.475 with 16 home runs, 62 RBI, 56 runs scored and 18 stolen bases through 128 contests this year.

  • Luis Arraez 2B | SF

Twins' Luis Arraez: Encouraging MRI results

Arraez (hamstring) underwent an MRI after being removed from Wednesday's win over the Royals, and manager Rocco Baldelli said there are no serious concerns, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Arraez suffered the injury during the first inning Wednesday when he singled and came around to score. Baldelli expects the 25-year-old back in action "relatively soon," and Arraez's availability for Thursday's series finale remains up in the air.

  • Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI

White Sox's Elvis Andrus: Two hits, stolen base in loss

Andrus went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Rockies.

Andrus singled and stole second base in the fifth frame before later adding another base knock in the bottom of the seventh. The stolen base was his 10th of the year and second over his last four games. Since Aug. 27, Andrus has produced multiple hits in 11 out of 17 games, batting .371 with five homers, 16 RBI, 13 runs and two stolen bases over that stretch.

  • Blue Jays' Santiago Espinal: Three hits, two runs scored in win

Espinal went 3-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Tampa Bay.

After going hitless in his previous eight at-bats, Espinal responded with three hits Wednesday. The multi-hit effort was his fourth of the month and raised his average to .268. He also came around to score twice, bringing his season-long run total to 50. While he's conceded playing time on occasion, Espinal has proven to be a reliable middle-infield option this season, especially in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Luis Arraez 2B | SF

Twins' Luis Arraez: Pulled with hamstring tightness

Arraez was removed from Wednesday's game versus the Royals with left hamstring tightness, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The 25-year-old led off the game with a single and came around to score, but he apparently suffered the hamstring injury while on the bases since he was replaced in the field for the following frame. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and Arraez should be considered day-to-day heading into Thursday's series finale against Kansas City.
