Angels' Brandon Drury: Available off bench
Drury (hamstring) said he will be available off the bench Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Drury is not in the lineup after having to exit Monday's game with a hamstring issue. However, he tested out the hamstring with a pregame workout and contends that he's fine to play, if needed. Luis Rengifo is at second base Tuesday and Miguel Sano is at first.

Angels' Brandon Drury: Sitting out with hamstring issue
Drury is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rays after exiting Monday's contest with a hamstring injury, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
It's unclear at this point whether it could potentially be a multi-game absence for Drury, who was lifted for a pinch runner Monday following his last plate appearance. For now, consider him day-to-day. Luis Rengifo is handling second base Tuesday.

Curtis Mead 3B | WAS
Rays' Curtis Mead: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Mead is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Angels.
Mead had started six of the last seven games, including three straight, at second base since Brandon Lowe (oblique) went down, but he will yield to Amed Rosario in this one. The 23-year-old Mead has managed just a .577 OPS this season and is still looking for his first RBI.

Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Sitting out Tuesday
Keith is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Rangers.
It's the first day off against a right-hander this season for Keith, who had started each of the previous nine games. Zach McKinstry will occupy second base Tuesday.

Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Mariners' Jorge Polanco: Homers in second straight game
Polanco went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and three total runs in Monday's 9-3 victory versus Cincinnati.
Polanco helped the Mariners get off to a fast start with his three-run shot off Frankie Montas in the first inning. It was the second homer in as many days for Polanco, and he's drive in five runs over the two-game span. The veteran infielder could be picking things up after a slow overall start to the season -- he's slashing just .203/.338/.356 with a 32.4 percent strikeout rate through 71 plate appearances.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Continuing rehab assignment
Royals manager Matt Quatraro said Monday that Massey (back) will travel with Triple-A Omaha this week as part of his rehab assignment, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Massey started the season on the 10-day IL after experiencing lower-back tightness late in spring training. Quatraro noted that he wants Massey to get in a few more games and at-bats to ensure the 26-year-old is 100 percent healthy before returning to the Royals. Massey has appeared in five games with Triple-A Omaha, slashing .409/.458/.636 with five doubles and six RBI over 24 plate appearances.

Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Twins' Edouard Julien: Starting again versus lefty
Julien will start at second base and bat ninth in Monday's game in Baltimore.
Julien has now made two straight starts against left-handers and has been in the lineup for all but two games this season. It might not be the case if the Twins weren't missing Royce Lewis (quad) and/or Carlos Correa (intercostal), but for now Julien looks like an everyday player rather than a strong-side platoon option.

Enmanuel Valdez 2B | PIT
Red Sox's Enmanuel Valdez: In Monday's lineup
Valdez (thumb) will start at second base and bat seventh in Monday's game versus the Guardians.
Valdez didn't play Sunday after exiting Saturday's contest with a bruised left thumb, although he might not have been in the lineup, anyway, since they were facing a lefty. Either way, he's back in there Monday against Xzavion Curry and the Guardians.

Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Mariners' Jorge Polanco: Goes yard in loss
Polanco went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Cubs.
Polanco's two-run blast in the sixth were the only runs and the only extra-base hit the Mariners were able to muster up on the afternoon. Polanco now has two long balls on the year which also happen to be his only extra-base hits on the season so far. He's gotten off to a sluggish start with his new ballclub, slashing .196/.318/.304 with five RBI, three runs scored and a 9:22 BB:K in 66 plate appearances.
