Kyle Manzardo 1B | CLE
Rays' Kyle Manzardo: Out with undisclosed injury
Manzardo is on the 7-day injured list at High-A Bowling Green with an undisclosed injury.
Through five games, it seemed like Manzardo was primed to be a big breakout prospect, as he had six hits (including three doubles), eight walks and three strikeouts. He last played April 15, and it's unclear how much longer he will be sidelined.

Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Returns to starting lineup
Dalbec went 0-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-5 extra-inning loss to the Angels.
With lefty Reid Detmers on the bump for the Angels, Dalbec returned to the starting lineup but watched his batting average dip to a season-low .141. The 26-year-old corner infielder will continue to platoon with Franchy Cordero at first base, but prospect Triston Casas is nipping at his heels at Triple-A Worcester.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Snaps power drought
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in a 4-3 victory versus the Cubs on Wednesday.
Abreu kicked off the scoring in the game with a solo shot to left field in the first inning, and he scored the final run of the contest on an AJ Pollock single in the sixth. The veteran first baseman had gone nine straight games without a long ball or an extra-base hit of any sort. Wednesday also marked Abreu's first multi-hit performance since April 10.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Two homers, eight RBI Wednesday
Tellez went 4-for-6 with two home runs, a double and eight RBI in Wednesday's 18-4 win over the Reds.
Tellez singled in the first inning before he later launched a grand slam off Vladimir Gutierrez in the third frame, scoring Willy Adames, Christian Yelich and Andrew McCutchen in the process. The 27-year-old also added a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth and an RBI double in eighth inning, finishing his day with an eye-popping eight RBI. The two homers have him up to seven total on the season to go with 21 RBI. Over his last four games, Tellez has launched four long balls and notched 12 RBI over 15 at-bats.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Likely moving to IL
Manager Tony La Russa said that Vaughn (hand), who is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Cubs, will "most probably" be placed on the injured list ahead of Friday's series opener against the Red Sox, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined since being hit by a pitch on the right hand last Friday, and he hasn't recovered as hoped over the past few days. It's unclear exactly how long Vaughn is expected to be sidelined, though the fact he's been considered day-to-day to this point could mean he won't require a lengthy absence. Adam Engel should see more opportunities in the outfield while Vaughn is out.

Reynaldo Rivera 1B | DET
Reynaldo Rivera: Released by Tigers
Rivera was released by the Tigers on Wednesday, Emily Waldon of Baseball America reports.
Rivera appeared in 95 games at High-A West Michigan last year and hit .207 with 21 home runs, 60 RBI and 45 runs. The 24-year-old hasn't yet played in the minors this year, and he'll be free to seek out other opportunities.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Unlikely to return this week
Reds manager David Bell said Wednesday that Votto (illness) will likely be on the COVID-19 injured list for "more than a couple of days," C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Though the Reds haven't formally said whether Votto tested positive for COVID-19, the skipper's comments would seem to imply that the veteran first baseman is likely experiencing symptoms of the virus and wasn't deactivated earlier this week for precautionary reasons. More clarity on Votto's status could arrive over the weekend, but fantasy managers shouldn't count on him being available for the Reds' four-game home series with Pittsburgh that begins Friday.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Remains out of lineup
Vaughn (hand) isn't starting Wednesday against the Cubs, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
Vaughn was hit by a pitch on his right hand in Friday's loss to the Angels and will be out of the lineup for a fifth straight game. Whether the 24-year-old will be available off the bench remains to be seen, but AJ Pollock will shift to left field while Adam Engel starts in right.

Matt Beaty 1B | KC
Padres' Matt Beaty: On bench for Game 2
Beaty is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Guardians.
Beaty will see his streak of six consecutive starts come to an end while he sits in favor of Jose Azocar in the nightcap. He served as San Diego's designated hitter in the team's 5-4 win in Game 1 of the day, going 1-for-4 with a run.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Guardians' Josh Naylor: Not starting nightcap
Naylor isn't starting the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Padres.
Naylor drew the start in Wednesday's matinee and went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Franmil Reyes will serve as the designated hitter while Ernie Clement enters the lineup at the hot corner in the second game.
