Naylor was removed from Monday's game against the Mets in the eighth inning due to back spasms, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.

After hitting a game-tying homer in the bottom of the seventh, Naylor didn't come out to play defense in the top of the eighth and was replaced at first base by Patrick Wisdom. Prior to exiting, Naylor went 1-for-3 with the solo blast, his sixth homer of the season and first since May 8, snapping a 20-game home run drought. Consider Naylor day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's tilt with the Mets.

Schanuel (ankle) has started to run, take grounders and has done shuffling drills, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

After landing on the IL on Wednesday, Schanuel has begun participating in his first drills since the injury took place. The 24-year-old has not begun running at full intensity quite yet, but he felt fine at the pace he was going at Monday. The next step in the recovery process for Schanuel is hitting.

White Sox manager Will Venable said Monday that Murakami (hamstring) stayed back in Chicago during the team's road trip and was given a platelet-rich plasma injection, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Murakami landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday and is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks of action with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. The hope is that the PRP injection helps aid the healing process, but he will be sidelined several weeks regardless.

Rumfield (shoulder) is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Angels on Monday.

Rumfield is dealing with right shoulder inflammation, which caused him to be scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Giants. He's not ready to return for Monday's series opener, so Edouard Julien will start at first base and bat seventh against the Halos.

Vientos is not in the Mets' starting lineup against the Mariners on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Vientos will get a breather after going 3-for-12 with one home run, three RBI and three runs scored during the Mets' three-game weekend series against the Marlins. Jared Young will start at first base while MJ Melendez serves as the designated hitter for Monday's series opener.

The Diamondbacks transferred Santana (thigh) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

The transaction frees up space on the 40-man roster for first baseman/designated hitter Pavin Smith (elbow), who was reinstated from the 60-day IL. Santana was pulled off his rehab assignment in mid-May after suffering a setback with his right adductor strain and remains without a timeline for a return.

Garcia went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Padres.

Garcia broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with a 402-foot blast off Griffin Canning, his fifth homer of the year. Garcia's been swinging the bat well of late, going 9-for-25 with a pair of homers and a 1.000 OPS over his last seven games. Overall, he's slashing .268/.290/.430 with 30 RBI, 21 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases across 186 plate appearances this season.

Devers went 4-for-6 with three doubles, an RBI, four runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 19-6 win over the Rockies.

Devers was a hit machine in the blowout win, recording a season-high four knocks and his first three-double performance since 2019. After a lackluster start to the campaign, he'll close May slashing .306/.356/.593 with 20 extra-base hits (five homers), 19 RBI and 18 runs across 28 games during the month. The 29-year-old's overall .732 OPS in 59 games remains well below his career norms, though there's no doubt Devers is trending in the right direction as June arrives.

Kurtz went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a run scored and two walks in Sunday's 13-8 loss against the Yankees.

Kurtz was unable to extend his home-run streak to three games, but he reached base in four of five plate appearances, highlighted by an RBI double in the eighth inning. The first baseman will close May with a .333/.456/.569 slash line, 13 extra-base hits (five homers), 26 RBI, 21 runs and three stolen bases across 28 games. His .939 OPS through 58 total games ranks fifth among qualified MLB hitters.

Rice went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, four RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Rice extended his hitting streak to five games in style, lacing a two-RBI double before driving in two more runs with a triple as part of the Yankees' 13-run third inning. The first baseman will close out May slashing .286/.346/.602 with 15 extra-base hits (including seven homers), 21 RBI, 18 runs and a stolen base across 24 games during the month. His 1.055 OPS across 54 games this season leads all qualified MLB hitters.
