Diaz is absent from the Rays' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Diaz played the last three games after returning from a groin issue, but he'll take a seat Tuesday. Luke Raley is at first base against Jose Berrios.

Bohm is on the bench Tuesday night against the Diamondbacks.

Kody Clemens will start at first base and bat eighth versus the Diamondbacks and right-hander Ryne Nelson. Edmundo Sosa is at third base and hitting ninth. Bohm has slashed just .227/.284/.333 in 74 plate appearances since the calendar flipped to May.

Raley went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Monday against the Blue Jays.

Raley popped his ninth home run of the season off Chris Bassitt in the seventh inning. It was his first homer since April 30, a span of 15 games and 43 at-bats. Raley remains a regular in the lineup with right-handers on the mound, though he has yet to start against a southpaw this season.

France went 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs in a win over the Athletics on Monday.

France set the table nicely on a couple of occasions out of the No. 2 spot in the order during the lopsided win. The 28-year-old had been mired in an 0-for-13 skid over the three games prior to Monday's, and he'd gone eight straight games without a walk prior to the pair of free passes he drew. France's .260 average and .338 on-base percentage are both solid figures, but he's seen a 71-drop in slugging percentage from last season's .436 thanks in part to a career-low 25.8 percent hard-contact rate.

Solano went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and played seven innings at second base in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Giants.

Heading into Monday's game, Solano had been scheduled to start at first base, only for the Twins to scratch him from the starting nine prior to first pitch without an explanation. The Twins' decision to scratch Solano may have had something to do with the Giants deploying a right-hander (John Brebbia) as their opening pitcher, as the righty-hitting Solano went on to pinch hit for the lefty-hitting Edouard Julien when lefty primary pitcher Sean Manaea came on in relief of Brebbia. Solano should continue to see most of his opportunities moving forward as a short-side platoon player.

Pasquantino went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Monday in a 10-inning loss to the Tigers.

Pasquantino plated the first runs of the contest for Kansas City with a 424-foot, two-run shot to right field in the first inning. The first baseman struggled from there, however, striking out three times in his remaining four plate appearances. That extended an uncharacteristic four-game stretch in which Pasquantino has struck out seven times over 16 at-bats. Prior to that span, he had fanned just seven times over his previous 24 games, a 97-at-bat sample.

Tellez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Monday.

Tellez accounted for the only run off Houston starter Cristian Javier with his solo homer in the second inning. The long ball was the second in as many days for the first baseman, who leads Milwaukee with 12 homers on the campaign. Tellez went deep a career-high 35 times last year and is on pace to challenge that mark this season.

Freeman went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and two runs scored in Monday's win over Atlanta.

Freeman gave the Dodgers a lead with his three-run shot in the fifth inning. The veteran slugger has been on fire over the last two weeks; he's gone 22-for-48 (.458) with 12 extra-base hits and 17 RBI in his last 12 games. During that span, Freeman has produced nine multi-hit games while boosting his season slash line to .328/.399/.569.

Wade was removed from Monday's victory over the Twins with a thumb injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Wade made it through eight innings of Monday's contest, but he was pinch hit for in the top of the ninth, and manager Gabe Kapler said after the game that Wade "jammed his thumb a bit." Kapler did not seem concerned about Wade's status, but his early exit leaves his status in question for Tuesday's matchup.

White underwent hip surgery Monday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

White landed on the injured list in April with a left adductor strain, and the decision was ultimately made to send him under the knife. A timeline for his recovery was not revealed, but his absence will likely wind up being measured in months.
