Flores went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Braves.

He's put together a solid month of June since taking over as the Mets' starting third baseman, hitting .308 (20-for-65) with two homers and 10 RBI. Flores is still only 24, so he may have just been scratching the surface of his potential with his 16-HR campaign in 2015.

Cabrera is out of the lineup Sunday against the Braves.

Cabrera will receive just his third day off of the season Sunday, as he has started 71 of the Mets' prior 73 games. While the veteran gets a break, Matt Reynolds will draw the start at shortstop and bat in the two-spot that was previously occupied by Cabrera.

Bour went 2-for-4 with a double and two-run homer in Saturday's 9-6 victory over the Cubs.

The 28-year-old slugger is enjoying his best month of the season, and is now slashing .340/.407/.679 following his third straight game with a homer Saturday. Bour also has nine RBI over that span, and has hit safely in eight of his last nine contests overall.

Santana went 1-for-3 with a leadoff homer, walk and two runs in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Tigers.

The veteran slugger got the Indians on the right track to what would be their eighth straight victory by taking Tigers starter Anibal Sanchez deep to open the game. The round-tripper marked Santana's seventh in what has been his best month of the season to date, and extended his modest hitting streak to three games. Santana is now slashing .253/.333/.527 with seven homers and 15 RBI in June.

Cron is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the A's, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Cron's trend of reverse splits has continued into this season, with the 26-year-old managing a .191/.291/.340 line against lefties and a .277/.324/.434 line against same-handed pitching. Lefty Dillon Overton is starting for the A's on Saturday. There has been no indication that his role is in jeopardy, but Cron figures to continue sitting occasionally against southpaws.

Abreu is back in the lineup Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Abreu took the day off Friday to rest his legs, but he was never expected to miss extended time. The slugger is back at his usual first base spot and will bat third in the order against Toronto's R.A. Dickey.

Bour smacked a first-inning grand slam in Friday's loss to the Cubs, his only hit in three at-bats.

The big lefty knocked his 13th homer of the season after starter Kyle Hendricks walked a pair of batters to load the bases in the bottom of the first inning. The home run tied the score for the Marlins, who had just allowed four runs in the top of the first frame. Bour continues to provide a steady power bat against right-handed pitching and has piled up 40 RBI to go along with a .268/.339/.515 slash line over 194 at-bats this season

Rizzo is back in the lineup, playing first base and batting third against Miami on Saturday.

Rizzo, who missed the last two games due to back stiffness, is making his return for the third game of the series. During Rizzo's absence, Kris Bryant and Willson Contreras had been filling in for him at first base with Chris Coghlan seeing action in left field. Rizzo will resume a five-game hitting streak that included two homers and five RBI when he returns.

Joseph (illness) entered Friday's game as a pinch hitter and remained in the game to play first base.

Joseph missed Thursday's game with a cold, but was apparently feeling better Friday night. He went 1-for-2 at the plate after replacing Ryan Howard at first base.

Joseph (illness) is not in the starting lineup Friday.

Ryan Howard will man first base and hit fourth for the Phillies against right-hander Jake Peavy on Friday night. Joseph remains day-to-day.
