Cron went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Twins.

With Denard Span currently seeing more action in the outfield due to Kevin Kiermaier's thumb injury, Cron has had the DH spot mostly to himself and he's responded by going 8-for-21 (.381) over the last five games with three homers and six RBI. The 28-year-old has pushed his slash line up to .264/.316/.472 on the season, numbers right in line with his career averages, and with regular playing time in his sights for the foreseeable future, Cron's capable of providing fantasy value even in shallow formats.

Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk Saturday against the Pirates.

The young slugger was the first batter to face Pirates reliever Michael Feliz, and he promptly met him with a three-run shot to left field. Hoskins is now hitting .328 with an absurd 1.127 OPS and a surprising three stolen bases.

Calhoun is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Left-hander Derek Holland will take the mound for the Giants, and the Angels will again turn to Chris Young in right field. Calhoun is likely to return to Sunday's lineup, with right-hander Johnny Cueto currently slated to pitch for San Francisco.

Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday.

He helped the Athletics get off to a good start with a first-inning single that plated Jed Lowrie, one of three runs that would come home for Oakland during the frame. Olson has been wielding a hot bat over the last four games, going 8-for-19 with two doubles, one home run, five RBI, two walks and three runs over that span.

Cabrera went 2-for-5 with a walk, two doubles and an RBI in Friday's extra-inning win over the Braves.

His second double of the night gave the Mets an insurance run in the top of the 12th, although Cabrera was then thrown out to end the inning trying to stretch it into a triple. The 32-year-old already has eight multihit performances and 12 extra-base hits (eight doubles and four homers) in 19 games, driving his .347/.386/.613 slash line, and hitting somewhere near the top of the order has allowed him to collect 16 runs and 10 RBI. Given his career .271/.332/.423 line, this hot streak won't last, but until then he should be a fantasy lineup fixture.

Hoskins went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Thursday against the Pirates.

Hoskins took Jameson Taillon deep in the second inning, the start of a five-run inning for the Phillies. He now has exactly one hit in six consecutive games, during which he has five RBI and six runs scored. It's been an impressive start for the second-year player, as he's hitting .327/.486/.618 in 55 at-bats.

Freeman went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in Atlanta's 12-4 victory over the Mets on Thursday.

After exiting Wednesday's game after getting hit by a pitch in the wrist, Freeman was right back in the lineup against the Mets and he showed no ill effects with a pair of hits in this blowout victory for the Braves, much to the relief of fantasy owners. Consider the 28-year-old good to go going forward.

Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run and an RBI in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

This was just Rizzo's second game back from a stint on the 10-day disabled list and his first hits since returning. It looks like the back tightness that sidelined him is no longer an issue, so the slugging first baseman should be good to go moving forward.

Bell is batting .500 with two homers and two doubles in 14 at-bats against Thursday starter Jake Arrieta.

The first baseman snapped out of a 5-for-28 (with eight strikeouts) slide Wednesday, collecting two hits and three RBI. Although the sample size against Arrieta is minute, he's seeing the ball well once again and makes for an interesting play Thursday.

Calhoun is out of the lineup against Boston on Thursday.

With southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez taking the hill for the Red Sox, Calhoun will occupy a seat on the pine as Chris Young draws the start in right field. Expect to see him back in the lineup for Friday's series opener against San Francisco with right-hander Jeff Samardzija (pectoral) set to pitch.
