Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 10-2 win over the Cubs.

Alonso started the scoring with his 419-foot blast to center field in the first inning and also came around to score after doubling in the sixth. The 24-year-old went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Friday but returned to form Saturday with another multi-hit performance. Alonso has a .993 OPS and 26 home runs over 76 games in his rookie year.

Cron went 3-for-5 with a homer and a pair of RBI in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Cron hit a solo shot off Danny Duffy in the eighth inning for his 17th homer of the season. In the 10th inning, he drove in what would turn out to be the game-winning run on an RBI single. Cron now has a hit in seven straight games, hitting .387 over that stretch.

Naylor will start in right field and bat fifth Saturday against the Pirates.

With Franmil Reyes getting the day off, Naylor will crack the lineup for only the second time in the Padres' last six games. Since being promoted from Triple-A El Paso on May 24, Naylor has managed a lowly .229/.260/.357 slash line across 73 plate appearances. With his production leaving much to be desired and his playing time dwindling, Naylor could be headed back to the minors in the near future.

Cooper (triceps) will start at first base and bat third Saturday against the Phillies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Cooper has experienced a couple setbacks with his left triceps over the past week, but the Marlins quickly determined the issue wasn't anything that would require a trip to the injured list. After sitting out Friday's series opener, Cooper apparently feels good enough to return to the heart of the Miami lineup and put his 12-game hitting streak on the line.

Rizzo is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

Per Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune, Rizzo is just getting a rest day after starting in each of the Cubs' games dating back to May 17. The heavy workload may be starting to wear on Rizzo, as he's recorded only eight hits in 35 at-bats (.229 average) with two home runs over his last 10 starts. Victor Caratini will fill in for Rizzo at first base.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Rays.

His third-inning solo shot off Jalen Beeks got the A's on the board, and he added an RBI double in the eighth. Olson has been locked in this month, slashing .311/.391/.672 through 17 games in June with five long balls, seven two-baggers and 13 RBI.

Gurriel started at third base and went 1-for-3 with a walk in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Yankees.

This was Gurriel's eighth consecutive start and 15th in the last 20 games at third base. As the Astros confront injuries to Carlos Correa (ribs) and Aledmys Diaz (hamstring), Gurriel has been soaking up time at the hot corner while primary starter Alex Bregman covers shortstop. The 35-year-old corner infielder hasn't hit like a one, posting a .694 OPS over 70 games.

Cron went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in an 8-7 win over the Royals on Friday.

The first baseman extended his hitting streak to six games with the second-inning blast. Cron is now slashing .306/.368/.548 in June as he marches toward a career-best campaign, and on the season he's slugged 16 homers and 48 RBI in 67 games.

Beaty went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 4-2 win over the Rockies.

Beaty, who was recalled earlier in the day from a brief stay with Triple-A Oklahoma City, played the hero by taking Rockies reliever Jairo Diaz deep for the game-winning homer. The rookie is hitting .300/.323/.450 through 24 games, adding two homers and 11 RBI.

Santana went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Friday night against the Tigers.

Santana kicked off the scoring in this one with a two-run blast to center field, marking his 16th long ball of the 2019 campaign. The 33-year-old has now homered in back-to-back contests, driving in three over that stretch. Santana is slashing .295/.417/.538 with 46 RBI through 74 contests.
