Bell went 2-for-5 with his 30th homer of the season in a 10-2 win over the Angels on Monday.

Since returning from a three-day rest period last week, Bell is 7-for-15 with three doubles, three homers (including two opposite-field shots) and six RBI. The first baseman has compiled wild monthly OPS numbers in 2019; March/April (.955), May (1.238), June (.764), July (.769) and August (1.139).

Santana went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored and a walk in Monday's 6-5 win over the Red Sox.

Santana knocked a game-winning homer after a Brad Hand blown save for the second game in a row, this time in the form of a walk-off solo blast. The 33-year-old has been red-hot all season but especially in August; he's gone 14-of-39 (.359) with three homers and 11 RBI this month.

Voit (sports hernia) sprinted on the field Monday and said he felt 100 percent healthy, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

He will hit on Tuesday and thinks he will be able to avoid surgery until the offseason. It sounds like Voit could be activated before the end of August, especially if he feels good after hitting. Mike Ford has been getting the bulk of the starts at first base lately.

Naylor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a losing effort to the Rockies on Sunday.

Starting in left field for the second straight game, Naylor slugged a solo shot to center field off German Marquez in the third inning. The 22-year-old is off to a strong start in August, hitting .280 (7-for-25) with three homers and seven RBI in 10 games.

Goldschmidt went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs in an 11-9 victory against the Pirates on Sunday.

The 31-year-old has absolutely crushed Pirates pitching this season, posting a .387 average with seven home runs and 22 RBI in 16 games against Pittsburgh. Goldschmidt is batting .333 with eight home runs and 18 RBI in his last 18 games, and a lot of that success has come against the Pirates -- he's 13-for-28 (.464 average) with five homers versus Pittsburgh during that stretch. Overall, he's batting .262 with 26 home runs, 62 RBI and 71 runs in 435 at-bats this season.

Bell went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in an 11-9 loss against the Cardinals on Sunday.

The 26-year-old hit his first homer since July 5 in the first inning and then added another long ball in the fifth. Bell didn't have a great June either, but he's been really struggling since participating in the Home Run Derby, posting a .188 average with only six extra-base hits in 80 at-bats since the break before Sunday. Bell is batting .284 with 29 home runs, 93 RBI and 80 runs in 422 at-bats this season.

Santana went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, five RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 7-3 win over Minnesota.

After Brad Hand blew a save, Santana saved the day with a 10th-inning grand slam off Taylor Rogers. The 32-year-old slugger is up to 25 homers and 70 RBI with a career-best .926 OPS.

Olson went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 2-0 win over the White Sox.

Olson's fourth-inning shot -- his 23rd of the year -- accounted for the only runs for either squad in Sunday's contest. He snapped a nine-game homerless drought in what's been a disappointing start to August; he's gone 8-for-33 (.242) with one extra-base knock and nine strikeouts.

Calhoun went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs scored Sunday against the Red Sox.

Calhoun tied the game in the eighth inning with a solo home run to right field, and the Angels would go on to win it in the 10th. The 31-year-old right fielder has put together a .233/.323/.480 slash line with 26 home runs and 60 RBI over 112 games this season.

France has 10 hits in his last 15 at-bats for Triple-A El Paso and is now hitting .406 on the season.

France's slash line is an unreal .406/.482/.790 and he has a legitimate shot to become the first minor-league player to finish a season above .400 since 1999. He has also hit for power, smashing 27 homers and 27 doubles while driving in 87 runs. France has played some second base lately and could be an option to cover the position for the Padres if Luis Urias, who is currently batting .154, continues to struggle.
