Alonso went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Braves.

Alonso delivered his 53rd homer of the season 415 feet to center field during the third inning to break Aaron Judge's all-time rookie record for home runs in a season. The young slugger has a .260/.359/.586 slash line with 30 doubles and 120 RBI in 160 games during his rookie campaign.

Walker went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Padres.

Walker opened the scoring with a solo shot in the second inning off Padres starter Garrett Richards. The first baseman then took reliever David Bednar deep in the seventh, putting an exclamation point on the comeback effort. Walker is up to 29 homers, 73 RBI and 85 runs scored while slashing .259/.349/.476 in 151 games.

Diaz (foot) is expected to be activated Sunday, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Diaz has been out with a bruised foot since late July but will be ready to go for the playoffs. He's expected to be limited to a designated hitter role.

Rizzo (ankle) remains on the bench Saturday against the Cardinals.

Rizzo's sprained ankle is clearly still bothering him, as he hasn't played since Wednesday. With the Cubs out of the playoff picture, it's quite likely that he won't play again this season. Victor Caratini will be the first baseman Saturday.

Flores is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.

Flores has hit very well down the stretch, posting a .383/.426/.670 slash line while striking out just 8.9 percent of the time over his last 28 games. Eduardo Escobar slides to second base Saturday, with Jake Lamb starting at third.

Solano (calf) will start Saturday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Solano has been dealing with a calf injury and hadn't started a game in nearly three weeks. He'll lead off and play second base Saturday.

Santana is not in the lineup Saturday against the Nationals.

Santana is one of many Cleveland regulars to sit the day after the team was eliminated from playoff contention. Jake Bauers gets the nod at first base.

Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.

Olson unloaded a 370-foot shot to left with Matt Chapman aboard in the seventh inning to erase a 2-1 deficit at the time. The homer was Olson's first since Sept. 17, but he's still slugged an impressive nine overall during the month, which has helped lead to an impressive 23 RBI across his last 24 games.

Guerrero was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup against the Rays with right knee soreness, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

He missed time in August with left knee inflammation, and now his other knee is giving him trouble. It may not seem like much, but given how big Guerrero is (at least 250 pounds), it is somewhat concerning that his lower body is giving him trouble in his age-20 season. With just one game left on the schedule, we may not see him again this season. Brandon Drury was added to the lineup at third base.

Lowe went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

Lowe made some solid contributions from the latter half of the order in the postseason-clinching win, churning out his first multi-hit effort since Sept. 1 in the process. The rookie has only three extra-base hits during the month when factoring in Friday's two-bagger, but his season line remains a solid .272/.335/.469 (164 plate appearances) heading into the final pair of regular-season contests.
