Manager Dave Roberts stated Saturday that Beaty has "earned opportunities" and will get starts in left field in place of the injured AJ Pollock (hamstring), Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA reports.

Pollock is expected to be out multiple weeks, opening the door for Beaty to play on a near-everyday basis. While Pollock had been hot at the plate, Beaty has also played well of late, batting .373 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 17 games since April 20. The 28-year-old indeed got the start in left field Sunday and collected three singles in four at-bats.

Tellez left Sunday's win over the Phillies with a mild left hamstring strain, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Tellez hit a single to left field in Sunday's matchup but appeared to slip on home plate and was immediately removed from the game after he made it to first base. Manager Charlie Montoyo said that Tellez has a "good chance" of winding up on the injured list, but the team will presumably run further tests before making a final decision.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a grand slam, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-9 loss to Milwaukee.

Freeman knocked a grand slam off Brent Suter as part of a seven-run seventh inning to cut Milwaukee's lead to 8-7. The slugging first baseman is riding an eight-game hitting streak with four long balls and nine RBI during that stretch. For the season, Freeman has 11 homers with an .821 OPS.

Bell is not in the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Bell is 4-for-13 with a homer, a double, five RBI and four runs over the past four games, but he'll head to the bench Sunday even though righty Luke Weaver is pitching for Arizona. Ryan Zimmerman will start at first base in the series finale.

Voit went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI in Saturday's 8-2 victory over Baltimore.

The first baseman collected his first hit of the season in the first inning, rapping a single to left field and later coming around to score. He singled again in the sixth inning, this time plating two runs with the base knock. Voit entered the contest having gone 0-for-10 through his first three games after missing nearly six weeks while recovering from left knee surgery.

Cronenworth went 3-for-4 with a walk and scored three runs in a 13-3 victory over St. Louis on Saturday.

The second baseman batted cleanup for San Diego on Saturday and finished with his fifth multi-hit effort over his past nine games. During that stretch, he is batting an even .400 with a homer, four RBI and five walks across 40 plate appearances.

Flores is not in the lineup Sunday against the Pirates, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Flores will head to the bench Sunday after starting the past 13 games and posting a .553 OPS. Mauricio Dubon will start at the keystone Sunday for San Francisco in the series finale.

Wade was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 27-year-old was reinstated from the injured list Thursday but will head to Triple-A with Alex Dickerson (shoulder) rejoining the active roster Sunday. Wade is 3-for-12 with a double and a walk in five big-league appearances this season.

Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and three RBI in Saturday's 9-8 extra-inning loss to the Tigers.

It's been a relatively slow start for Rizzo, but he's shown more signs of life in May, as he has an .870 OPS this month compared to the .768 mark he posted in April. Those numbers aren't too far off from the .756 OPS Rizzo recorded in the shortened 2020 season, but he had a .925 OPS in his last full season back in 2019. Still just 31 years old, the slugging first baseman is certainly capable of upping his production the rest of the way.

Cabrera (hamstring) said he was feeling better Saturday and is hopeful surgery will not be required, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera also acknowledged that doctors told him he could potentially be out at least four weeks due to the injury. The 35-year-old infielder has appeared at third base (27 games) and first base (nine) for the Diamondbacks.
