Cooper started at first base and went 0-for-2 with a run, two walks and a strikeout to begin Friday's matchup, but he was replaced defensively in the bottom of the eighth inning. The 31-year-old's injury doesn't sound like a significant concern, so he should be considered day-to-day for now.

Bell went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple, three RBI, two runs and a strikeout in Friday's 11-5 win over Milwaukee.
Bell had a third consecutive multi-hit performance Friday, but his performance against the Brewers marked the first time that he had produced any runs during that time. The 29-year-old has recorded multiple hits in six of the last 11 matchups, and he has hit .378 with two homers, a triple, two doubles, nine RBI and four runs across that span.

Wade (knee) is being held back from his scheduled rehab assignment due to left hamstring tightness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Wade was expected to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, but he was unable to being playing in minor-league games due to his hamstring issue. The 28-year-old will be re-evaluated Monday, and it's possible that he reports to Sacramento sometime next week.

Alonso (hand) is starting Friday against the Angels.
Alonso missed his first game of the season Wednesday due to a hand injury, but he did grip tests prior to Friday's series opener against the Angels. Although he's still dealing with some bruising, he'll be able to start at first base and bat cleanup Friday.

Wade (knee) hasn't yet begun a rehab assignment, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Wade was supposed to join Triple-A Sacramento for a rehab assignment Thursday, but he was seen in the Giants' clubhouse ahead of Friday's matchup against the Dodgers. It's not yet clear when the 28-year-old will ultimately be cleared to join the minor-league club, but his rehab assignment should be the final stage of his recovery process.

Rivas was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Rivas held the starting job at first base for Chicago earlier this season, but he'll head to the minors while in the midst of a 1-for-22 slump, during which he's struck out nine times. Overall this year the 25-year-old has a .194/.296/.301 slash line in 38 games.

Walker was hit in the head by a pitch during Thursday's matchup with the Reds, but he's apparently none the worse for wear and is back in action a day later. The 31-year-old is off to a slow start in June and has a .148/.281/.407 slash line with two home runs in eight games.

Freeman drove in two with a double in the fifth inning, and he delivered an RBI single in the following frame. He now has three multi-hit performances in his last five starts, though he had just one extra-base hit and one run scored in that span entering Thursday's game. Freeman owns a .290/.371/.446 line across 256 plate appearances on the season.
