Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Goes yard twice in win
Harper went 3-for-6 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday's 12-7 victory over the Mariners.
The Philadelphia star collected his second multi-homer performance of the season, as he tallied his fifth and sixth homers of the month. Harper blasted a 440-foot solo shot off Seattle reliever Casey Legumina in the sixth before returning in the seventh to crack a titanic 448-foot, two-run long ball, again off Legumina. The former MVP is now slashing .262/.357/.508 with 21 homers, 10 steals, 58 RBI and 56 runs scored across 428 total plate appearances.

Jared Triolo SS | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: Swipes base in win
Triolo went 0-for-1 with three walks, a steal and one run scored in Monday's 5-2 victory over the Blue Jays.
Triolo pilfered his eighth base of the season when he stole second off Blue Jays reliever Yariel Rodriguez in the sixth. The Pittsburgh infielder has become a staple of the starting lineup since Ke'Bryan Hayes was shipped out at the trade deadline, as he garnered his eighth consecutive start at shortstop. Triolo has made the most of his opportunity, hitting .274 (14-for-51) with three steals, nine runs scored, three RBI and 9:12 BB:K across 16 games this month.

Tyler Locklear 1B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Tyler Locklear: Out of Monday's lineup
Locklear is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.
Pavin Smith is starting at first base in his first game back from the injured list. Locklear had started each of the previous 16 contests and should still function as the team's primary first baseman down the stretch, but Smith could eat into his playing time somewhat.

Willson Contreras 1B | STL
Cardinals' Willson Contreras: Returns to St. Louis lineup
Contreras (foot) will start at first base and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Marlins.
Contreras missed the previous four games after being hit on the foot by a pitch, but he's good to go for the series opener in Miami. With Contreras back in action, Alec Burleson will shift back to the outfield after drawing his last four starts at first base.

Tyler Black 1B | MIL
Brewers' Tyler Black: Returning to Triple-A
The Brewers optioned Black to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Milwaukee promoted Black from Nashville on Friday after Blake Perkins and Isaac Collins were placed on the bereavement list and paternity list, respectively, but the 25-year-old will head back to the minors with both players having since rejoined the Brewers. During his brief stay with the big club, Black didn't make a start but appeared in two of the Brewers' three games in Cincinnati over the weekend, going 0-for-2 with three walks.

Enrique Hernandez 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Takes part in BP
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Hernandez (elbow) took part in batting practice Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Hernandez had been able to take part in baseball activities for more than a week, but being able to take at-bats against live pitching is especially notable, given that swinging the bat had been presenting the most discomfort for him while he attempted to play through his left elbow injury before landing on the shelf July 7. According to Sonja Chen of MLB.com, Hernandez is set to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City this week, potentially setting the utility player up for a return from the 10-day injured list before the end of August.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Swipes rare bag
Olson went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Guardians.
It was his first steal of 2025, and only his second in four seasons with Atlanta. Olson is racking up plenty of hits in August, batting .290 (18-for-62) over 16 games, but he's managed just one homer and four RBI over that span. The first baseman's .449 SLG on the year would be the lowest mark of his career over a full season.

Spencer Horwitz 1B | PIT
Pirates' Spencer Horwitz: Delivers RBI double
Horwitz went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Sunday against the Cubs.
Horwitz snapped a brief three-game hitless streak with an RBI double in the third inning to tie the game at 1-1. He has had an inconsistent season as the Pirates' primary first baseman, but he has hit .295 with three home runs, 18 RBI and 13 runs scored across 27 games since the All-Star break.
-
Warming Bernabel 1B | COL
Rockies' Warming Bernabel: Strong weekend series
Bernabel went 2-for-4 with two runs scored Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
After a scorching start to his big-league career, Bernabel had slowed down considerably through mid-August. However, he enjoyed a strong series against the Diamondbacks at Coors Field, going 4-for-11 with a home run and four runs scored across four games. Though there will be some inconsistency, Bernabel has remained a near-everyday player and has hit primarily fifth in the lineup of late.

Eric Wagaman 1B | MIA
Marlins' Eric Wagaman: Lifts seventh homer
Wagaman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 5-3 win over Boston.
Wagaman has seen his playing time trend downward as he continues to struggle at the plate. Sunday's contest marked his first multi-hit performance since July 2, a stretch in which he went 15-for-88 (.170) with a homer, two doubles and two triples. Wagaman has been in the starting nine in two of Miami's last five games, as Troy Johnston and Liam Hicks have been seeing some work at first base.
