Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Astros.

The first baseman took Jose Urquidy the other way in the fourth inning for his third homer of the season. Guerrero has been collecting plenty of hits to begin the year, batting .357 (25-for-70) through 18 games, but Tuesday's blast was only his fourth extra-base hit and the 24-year-old has a somewhat disappointing nine RBI and 13 runs, although he's more than capable of heating up in a hurry and racking up counting stats in a high-powered Blue Jays offense.

Arias will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Tigers, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Arias will be picking up his fourth consecutive start Wednesday, with three coming at shortstop while Amed Rosario has been on the mend from a back injury. Though prior reports have suggested Rosario is due to return to the lineup Friday against the Marlins, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com relayed Wednesday that the Guardians planned to call up top middle-infield prospect Brayan Rocchio from Triple-A Columbus, which likely implies more concern about Rosario's health than anticipated. If Rosario winds up on the injured list, Rocchio would most likely inherit the everyday gig at shortstop, resulting in Arias fading back into a utility role.

Vaughn went 1-for-7 with two RBI across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies.

Vaughn went hitless in the nightcap, marking only the fourth time in 17 games that's occurred to begin the season. He's also shown increased patience at the plate by earning nine free passes across 74 plate appearances after accruing only 31 in 555 plate appearances in 2022. Vaughn's power has yet to emerge -- he has no homers yet has doubled seven times -- but he has otherwise had an impressive start to the new campaign.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's win over Cincinnati.

Diaz extended Tampa Bay's lead to 4-0 in the second inning, blasting a three-run homer off Nick Lodolo with two outs. It's Diaz's fifth home run of the year, just four shy of his total in 558 at-bats last season. The 31-year-old Diaz is now slashing .259/.380/.552 with 12 RBI and 15 runs scored through 56 at-bats.

Kirilloff (wrist) has been moved up to Triple-A St. Paul to continue his rehab assignment, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Kirilloff played in four games with Low-A Fort Myers, going 3-for-12 with a home run. He's already played in back-to-back games and should only need a few more contests before he's ready to rejoin the Twins as he completes his recovery from right wrist surgery.

O'Hearn is starting at first base and batting ninth for the Orioles on Tuesday versus the Nationals.

It's his second start in five games since O'Hearn was added to the roster last week. He's 3-for-5 with five RBI over that stretch. With O'Hearn handling first base, Ryan Mountcastle is in the designated hitter spot.

Manzardo is slashing .262/.333/.548 with three home runs and a 10:5 K:BB in 48 plate appearances for Triple-A Durham.

The Rays didn't mess around, sending Manzardo to Triple-A this year after he dominated in 30 games at Double-A to close last season. Manzardo also set a career high in exit velocity (111.9 mph) on one of his home runs this season, and his 42.4 percent hard-hit rate is up from the 33.5 percent mark he logged in 2022.

Arias is will start at first base and bat second in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Tigers.

It's the second game in a row that Arias has been in the No. 2 spot for the Guardians after he filled in at shortstop for Amed Rosario (back) on Sunday. Arias is just 1-for-12 versus lefties this season, but that one hit was a home run. He'll go up against southpaw Matthew Boyd in this contest.

Naylor is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Tigers.

The Tigers are throwing lefty Matthew Boyd in the first game and southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez in the nightcap. The lefty-hitting Naylor has made just one start against a left-hander this season but could get a shot in the second game. Gabriel Arias is handling first base in the first contest.

Abreu went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Monday against the Blue Jays.

Abreu opened the scoring for the Astros in the first inning with a two-run double before also coming around to score. He has yet to homer this season, but he has two doubles, two runs scored and four RBI across his last five games -- though he's also hit only .143 in that span. Overall, Abreu has a very underwhelming 54 wRC+ and .250 wOBA after 75 plate appearances, but he continues to hit exclusively in the cleanup spot in the Houston lineup.
