White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Drives in three Wednesday
Vaughn went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 11-5 win over the Angels.
Vaughn had gone 13 games without a double, though he had four home runs in that span. The 25-year-old's three-run double in the fourth inning blew things open for the White Sox. Vaughn is up to a .247/.329/.447 slash line with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 37 runs scored, 21 doubles and no stolen bases through 80 contests this season.

Rays' Yandy Diaz: Racks up three hits
Diaz went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

The infielder continues to hit for a lofty average, which rose to .322 following Wednesday's strong game. He's added a .928 OPS, 38 RBI, 52 runs scored and 16 doubles through 68 contests this season, a vast improvement on his usually lackluster counting stats. Barring a second-half collapse, Diaz is on pace for career numbers nearly across the board.

The 23-year-old has now surpassed his home run total from his 2022 rookie campaign in 33 fewer games, which is a promising sign for his power development. He's still struggling to make consistent contact, however, with a .218 batting average.
