Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Three hits in Wednesday's win
Guerrero went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.
All three hits were singles, but two of them had exit velocities over 113 mph. Guerrero appears to be heating up, batting .350 (14-for-40) over the last 10 games with three doubles and a homer, but his .246/.344/.373 slash line on the season remains disappointing,

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: Not in Thursday's lineup
France is out of the lineup for Thursday's contest in Minnesota.
France is just 1-for-11 with seven strikeouts over his last three games, so he'll get a day off to regroup. Luke Raley will make just his third start of the season at first base while France sits.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Tallies two hits
Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk Wednesday against the Rays.
Vaughn collected multiple hits for the first time in his last seven starts, during which he's gone just for 5-for-25 with two doubles. He's gotten off to a slow start to the season overall by hitting .192 across 142 plate appearances, and he also has an inflated 26.1 percent strikeout rate.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Twins' Carlos Santana: Sitting Wednesday
Santana is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.
Santana will take a seat after going 0-for-5 with a walk through the first two games of the series with Seattle. Father Time may be starting to catch up with Santana, whose .588 OPS so far during the 2024 campaign would represent the worst mark of his career by 73 points.

Dominic Smith 1B | ATL
Red Sox's Dominic Smith: Heads to bench versus southpaw
Smith is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.
With southpaw Chris Sale on the hill for Atlanta, the lefty-hitting Smith will take a seat while Garrett Cooper replaces him as Boston's designated hitter. Smith had started in each of Boston's last four games, going 3-for-16 with a double, a walk and two RBI.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Guardians' Josh Naylor: Lifts another homer
Naylor went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 loss to the Tigers.
Naylor has gone 6-for-24 with three homers and seven RBI over his last seven contests. He was swinging a hot bat earlier in the season, but he's traded a bit of contact for more power in recent weeks. Naylor is slashing .276/.364/.553 with nine homers, 28 RBI, 18 runs scored, seven doubles and two steals over 34 games. With top prospect Kyle Manzardo slumping to begin his major-league career, Naylor should continue to play on a near-everyday basis between first base and designated hitter.

Jonathan Aranda 1B | TB
Rays' Jonathan Aranda: Getting into rhythm
Aranda (finger) went 4-for-5 with a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.
Aranda has been on a rehab assignment since April 26 and went hitless in his first 19 at-bats. However, he's since seen some improved results, collecting at least one hit in three straight games. The Rays may let him continue to heat up with Durham, but Aranda should be back with the big-league club soon. He also should have the chance to get regular at-bats upon activation at a combination of second base, third base and designated hitter.

Nolan Schanuel 1B | LAA
Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Out against lefty
Schanuel is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
With lefty Martin Perez on the bump for Pittsburgh, the lefty-hitting Schanuel will exit the starting nine for the series finale. Brandon Drury will slide over from his usual spot at the keystone and man first base in Schanuel's stead.
-
Kyle Manzardo 1B | CLE
Guardians' Kyle Manzardo: Not in Wednesday's lineup
Manzardo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Tigers.
Following his promotion from Triple-A Columbus on Monday, Manzardo started both of the first two games of the series versus Detroit, going 0-for-7 with five strikeouts. He'll begin Wednesday's contest on the bench, with Jose Ramirez getting a day out of the field and serving as Cleveland's DH.

Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: On base four times in win
