Nolan Schanuel 1B | LAA
Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Back in lineup Tuesday
Schanuel (knee) is in the Angels' lineup Tuesday at first base and is batting second.
Schanuel missed Sunday's rubber match in Minnesota due to a right knee bruise. He suffered the injury when he fouled a pitch off his knee, which forced him to depart Saturday's game early. The 23-year-old will resume his first-base duties Tuesday after J.D. Davis took over for Sunday's game and following the Angels' off day Monday.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Angels' J.D. Davis: Pushed off 40-man
The Angels designated Davis for assignment Tuesday.
Since joining the active roster April 10, Davis has gone just 1-for-9 with three strikeouts while appearing in only five games. His lack of success and playing time has now caused him to lose his spot on the 40-man roster in favor of Gustavo Campero, who was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Mariners' Rowdy Tellez: Back in lineup Tuesday
Tellez (hand) is back in the lineup and batting sixth for Tuesday's game against the Angels.
Tellez was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup but is back in action against Angels right-hander Jack Kochanowicz. Tellez is slashing .170/.250/.434 with four home runs, 12 RBI and seven runs scored across 60 plate appearances this season.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Guardians' Carlos Santana: Logs two hits in loss
Santana went 2-for-3 in Monday's 11-1 loss to Minnesota.
Santana snapped a hitless run during Sunday's contest and followed up Monday with his first multi-hit effort in 10 games. He's batting .220 with a .598 OPS through 114 plate appearances.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Astros' Christian Walker: Cracks homer in win
Walker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 8-5 win against the Tigers on Monday.
Walker put the Astros on the board with a two-run shot to left-center field in the fourth inning. The long ball was his fourth of the season, three of which have come over his past eight games. Walker is still slashing a modest .192/.273/.354 on the campaign, but he's shown improvement with a .267 batting average and six RBI to go along with the three homers over the aforementioned eight-game stretch.

Xavier Isaac 1B | TB
Rays' Xavier Isaac: Enjoying three-game hitting streak
Isaac (elbow) is 4-for-10 with one home run, four RBI and two runs scored over his last three games at Double-A Montgomery.
Isaac, who began the 2025 campaign on the 7-day injured list due to an elbow injury suffered during spring training, got off to a tough 2-for-20 start at the dish in his first six appearances. However, he's turned the corner of late, racking up three extra-base hits over his last three games, including his first home run of the year.

Nick Kurtz 1B | ATH
Athletics' Nick Kurtz: Taking seat versus lefty
Kurtz is not in the lineup for Monday's game in Texas.
The left-handed-hitting Kurtz started each of the previous three contests when the opponent had a left-hander on the mound, but he'll begin Monday's tilt on the bench as southpaw Patrick Corbin draws the start for the Rangers. Tyler Soderstrom will shift back to first base Monday, and Miguel Andujar will draw the start in left field for the Athletics.

Donovan Solano 1B | TEX
Mariners' Donovan Solano: First extra-base hit this season
Solano went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's win over Miami.
Solano, who stepped in at first base for the injured Rowdy Tellez (hand), recorded his first extra-base hit of the campaign Sunday. After batting a strong .286 over 283 regular-season at-bats last year with the Padres, Solano hasn't been able to carve out a steady role for his new team in 2025. The journeyman infielder should handle the bulk of the reps at the cold corner until Tellez is ready to rejoin Seattle's lineup, but Solano is hitting a dreadful .114 (5-for-44) with one RBI and one run scored across 18 outings so far.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Yankees' Paul Goldschmidt: Breather in Game 2
Goldschmidt is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus Toronto.
Goldschmidt will get a breather after he went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored in the team's 11-2 win over the Blue Jays in Game 1. Ben Rice will replace him at first base, batting second against Toronto.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Mariners' Rowdy Tellez: Late scratch Sunday
Tellez (hand) was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Tellez had X-rays on his left hand come back negative after being hit by a pitch Saturday, but he'll still end up sitting out at least one game after initially being listed on the lineup card. Donovan Solano will step in at first base for the Mariners in the series finale.
