  • Predators' Jack Ivankovic: Headlines conference honors

Ivankovic was named the Big Ten First Star of the Week on Tuesday.

Ivankovic stood out as the University of Michigan swept the University of Denver in a battle between the two highest-ranked teams in the NCAA. He made 60 saves on 64 shots to win both games in the weekend series. On the year, the Nashville prospect is 6-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .933 save percentage through six games.

  • Predators' Adam Wilsby: Offense sparked by lineup shift

Wilsby notched two assists and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Wilsby was moved up to the top pair alongside Roman Josi, and both blueliners picked up a pair of helpers. With the effort, Wilsby matched his point total from the first seven games of the year. He's at four helpers, seven shots on net, 11 blocked shots, five hits and a plus-5 rating. He doesn't have enough of a history of production to be trusted in fantasy just yet, but he's worth monitoring if he stays alongside Josi.

  • Predators' Roman Josi: Offers two assists

Josi logged two assists, including one while shorthanded, and added two blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Josi has been steady to start the season. The 36-year-old defenseman has a goal, eight assists, 19 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through eight appearances. He's earned six of his helpers in special-teams situations -- five on the power play and one while shorthanded. Josi is still hovering around 25 minutes per game as well, making him a strong source of offense and blocks in fantasy.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Provides pair of assists

Stamkos notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Stamkos continues to play well early in 2026-27 in a top-line role. This was his third multi-point effort so far, and he's gotten on the scoresheet in seven of eight games. The 36-year-old has four goals, six helpers, 14 shots on net, seven hits, four blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. The decline could hit at any time, but Stamkos is still productive enough to help your fantasy roster.

  • Predators' Adam Edstrom: Another shorthanded tally in win

Edstrom scored a shorthanded goal on three shots and added eight hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Edstrom has four goals through eight games, and they've all come in defensive situations. His first two were empty-netters, and his last two have been shorthanded tallies. The 26-year-old forward has added 15 shots on net, 40 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. While he's firmly in a bottom-six role, he's on pace for the best campaign of his career -- he only needs to top the nine points he had in 51 outings for the Rangers in 2024-25.

  • Predators' Jack Drury: Deposits goal Saturday

Drury scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Drury potted the Predators' last goal of the contest for his first tally of the season. Over eight outings, he's added an assist, nine shots on net, six hits, eight blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-1 rating. Drury is filling a bottom-six role as a defensive center, so his fantasy upside is relatively low.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Scores rare kind of goal

Marchessault scored on a penalty shot and added four shots on net in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

It's not often a player draws a penalty shot while already on a power play, but that's what Marchessault did. He made good on the rare moment, converting at 8:40 of the first period to tie the contest at 1-1. All three of Marchessault's point this season have come with the man advantage. The winger has added 16 shots, eight hits and a minus-2 rating across eight contests. He's bounced between the first and third lines, which makes it difficult to project how effective he'll be on offense throughout the year.

  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Pots goal Saturday

O'Reilly scored a goal on four shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

O'Reilly is rolling -- he's scored in three straight games. The 35-year-old center has also racked up the shots early in the year, potting four goals on 18 shots through eight contests. He's added three assists, eight blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-2 rating. O'Reilly is firmly in a top-six role with power-play time, and he looks to still have enough in the tank to be effective in 2026-27.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Goal, assist in win

Forsberg scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

The tally was Forsberg's first of the season, and that could ignite his scoring touch. He hadn't been slouching that much -- he had earned at least one assist in five of seven contests to start the year. The star winger has eight points, 24 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-5 rating through eight appearances while seeing time on the top line and first power-play unit.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Steady in Saturday's win

Saros stopped 24 of 26 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

Saros put in a good performance to earn his third win in seven outings this season. The 31-year-old netminder got a rare burst of scoring support from his teammates -- Nashville has been held to two or fewer goals in five of eight outings, and this was the second time the team has potted five. Saros is now 3-2-2 with a 2.82 GAA and a .906 save percentage. He'll likely be between the pipes Thursday versus the Bruins, and while that's a tough matchup, Saros will be well rested for it.

  • Predators' Mavrik Bourque: Expected to miss Saturday's tilt

Bourque (upper body) is expected to miss Saturday's game against St. Louis, per Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey.

Bourque hasn't played since Oct. 8 because of the injury. He has an assist in four appearances with Nashville this season. Bourque is regarded as day-to-day, so he still might be an option Thursday in Boston.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: First off Saturday

Saros is expected to protect the home net against St. Louis on Saturday, according to Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey.

Saros was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, setting him up to make his third straight start. He is coming off a 30-save effort in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to San Jose. Saros has a 2-2-2 record this season and has allowed 18 goals on 188 shots. St. Louis (3-3-1) ranks eighth in the league with 3.57 goals per game this campaign.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Makes 30 saves in SO loss

Saros stopped 30 of 32 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks.

Saros delivered a strong performance despite the defeat, posting a .938 save percentage and keeping Nashville competitive throughout the contest. The Finnish netminder surrendered goals to Mason Marchment in the first period and Will Smith in the third before shutting down San Jose in overtime, but Macklin Celebrini beat him in the shootout to secure the victory for San Jose. Saros remains Nashville's unquestioned starter and a valuable fantasy asset even if he has just two wins to open the season. Through six outings, he's gone 2-2-2 with a 2.95 GAA and a .904 save percentage.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Finds twine against Sharks

Stamkos scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks.

Stamkos provided one of Nashville's two regulation goals, and the veteran sniper remains a productive offensive threat, cracking the scoresheet in all but one of his seven regular-season appearances. He has eight points (four goals, four assists) and 13 shots so far, and his role in the top line of both even strength and power play suggests he should continue to find ample opportunities to produce moving forward.

... See More ... See Less
  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Scores in shootout defeat

O'Reilly scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks.

O'Reilly continued to provide offensive production for Nashville, finding the back of the net while recording four shots -- he's taken multiple shots in three of his last four games while notching four points (three goals, one assist) in that span. The 35-year-old winger should remain a prominent offensive threat for the Predators while being a regular fixture in the Preds' first line both in even-strength and power-play scenarios.

  • Predators' Mavrik Bourque: Remains out Thursday

Bourque (upper body) will miss Thursday's game versus the Sharks, Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey reports.

Bourque is set to miss his third straight game after he didn't take the ice during warmups. His absence will allow Vitali Pinchuk to once again stay in the lineup in a bottom-six role. Bourque's next chance to play is Saturday versus the Blues.
