Blues' Milton Gastrin: Loaned to SHL
Gastrin was loaned to Brynas IF of the SHL on Monday.
During the 2025-26 campaign with MoDo Hockey of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan, Gastrin had 10 goals and 24 points in 39 regular-season games before adding one goal and three assists in 13 qualification contests. St. Louis acquired the 19-year-old forward from Washington on June 23 as part of the trade that sent Jordan Kyrou to the Capitals.

Blues' Dillon Dube: Signs one-year contract
Dube signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Blues on Wednesday.
Dube spent the 2025-26 regular season with AHL Springfield, where he recorded 20 goals, 17 assists and 10 PIM across 46 appearances. He could have the opportunity to compete for a role with the Blues during the 2026-27 campaign.

Blues' Ross Johnston: Inks three-year contract
Johnston signed a three-year, $6 million contract with the Blues on Wednesday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.
Johnston had three goals, 14 points, 107 PIM and 192 hits in 62 regular-season outings with Anaheim in 2025-26. The 32-year-old should be in the mix for a fourth-line spot with the Blues, but he'll probably also spend a fair amount of time as a healthy scratch.

Blues' Jonatan Berggren: Signs one-year contract
Berggren signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Blues on Wednesday, per Darren Dreger of TSN.
St. Louis declined to present Berggren with a qualifying offer before Monday's deadline, but the two sides were still able to work out a new deal. Berggren had eight goals and 22 points in 51 regular-season appearances between the Red Wings and Blues in 2025-26. The 25-year-old is likely to begin the 2026-27 campaign as part of St. Louis' bottom six.

Blues' Landon Nycz: College defender nabbed by Blues
Nycz was the 107th overall pick by St. Louis in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
NHL teams love prospects who spent the entirety of their draft year playing collegiate hockey, and that was the case with Nycz. He was a regular for UMass-Amherst as an 18-year-old, appearing in 35 games and posting a goal and three points. The lack of scoring was not by accident. Nycz brings very little offense to the table. His puck play is extremely basic and seems unlikely to improve much. On a more positive note, Nycz is 6-foot-2, 200 pounds and has excellent feet. He has a real chance to make it based on size and mobility alone. A fair comp for Nycz is Rangers' defenseman Drew Fortescue, a guy that also offered little offensively early on before developing over three years at Boston College and then turning pro.

Blues' Luke Schairer: BU commit picked by Blues
Schairer was the 75th overall pick by St. Louis in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
At 6-foot-3 and nearly 200 pounds, Schairer has the ideal size and length for a defenseman. He had some strong showings for Team USA on the international stage, although his play for the NTDP has been a bit more uneven. At his best, Schairer has the speed and individual talent to make creative plays with the puck, but he often tries to do too much, and his overall decision-making in all three zones needs work. Schairer looks like a multi-year college prospect, and given that he won't arrive at Boston University until the fall of 2027, it could be quite a while before the Blues see any potential return on their investment here.

Blues' Brandon Carlo: Traded on Day 2 of Entry Draft
Carlo (lower body) has been traded from Toronto to St. Louis in exchange for two 2026 third-round draft picks, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet on Saturday.
The picks are No. 73 and 76. Carlo is a massive, right-shot shutdown specialist who plays a safe, low-risk game that coaches adore. He's excellent on the penalty kill, but endured a lot of injury issues last season. He produced seven assists, 66 shots on goal, 98 blocked shots and 65 hits across 55 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. Carlo has one more season left on his six-year, $24.6 million contract.

Blues' Mason McTavish: Heads to Blues via trade
McTavish was traded to the Blues from Anaheim on Friday in exchange for the No. 15 and No. 29 overall picks in the 2026 NHL Draft, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.
McTavish had been rumored to be on the move for a few days, and we now know his destination. The No. 3 overall pick from 2021 never truly found his footing over the course of parts of five years with the Ducks, although he has posted 40-plus points in each of the past four seasons, so there may still be some meat on the bone. McTavish is a candidate for an enhanced role with his new club, though the offensive environment in St. Louis is not quite as strong as Anaheim these days. It projects as a lateral move for the 23-year-old from a fantasy perspective.

Blues' Maddox Dagenais: Big two-way pivot drafted 16th
Dagenais was the 16th overall pick by St. Louis in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.
Dagenais is a big center with a high-end shot and edge. He's great along the wall and plays a heavy game. He spent most of his draft season on the wing where he used his great shot at range to score 30 goals. But Dagenais relied a bit too much on that great shot to stay on the perimeter. His skating isn't great, nor is his hockey IQ. But with the right development, Dagenais could become a third-line center in St. Louis. And with that big body, he could be the Blues' Phillip Danault.

Blues' Tynan Lawrence: High potential pick at 11th overall
Lawrence was the 11th overall pick by St. Louis in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.
Lawrence was once touted as a potential top-five pick. He has excellent feet, strong skills, a great release and is super competitive. And he's a center. But Lawrence's vision and hockey IQ are his weakest links. He forces plays. He's so relentless in puck pursuit that he sometimes misses the obvious play. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have an NHL career ahead of him. He does. Lawrence will benefit from a full season at Boston University under coach and former NHLer, Jay Pandolfo, who played with the same motor and drive with a stronger hockey sense. At worst, Lawrence will be a forechecking specialist on the third line. At best, he becomes the Blues' 2C and his coach's favorite pivot.

Blues' Milton Gastrin: Dealt to St. Louis
Gastrin, Connor McMichael, and a 2026 first-round pick were traded to the Blues from the Capitals in exchange for Jordan Kyrou on Tuesday.
Gastrin was selected 37th overall in 2025, but he'll be on the move to a new organization less than a year later. The Swedish forward had 24 points in 39 regular-season games with MoDo in HockeyAllsvenskan, the second-tier Swedish league, in 2025-26. Gastrin also appeared in one playoff game with AHL Hershey. It's not yet clear whether Gastrin will spend 2026-27 with AHL Springfield or if he'll be loaned back to a European team.

Blues' Connor McMichael: Acquired in trade
St. Louis obtained McMichael, Milton Gastrin and the No.16th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft from Washington on Tuesday in exchange for Jordan Kyrou.
McMichael notched 14 goals, 46 points and 142 shots on net across 78 regular-season appearances with the Capitals in 2025-26. He will probably slot into a middle-six role and see power-play time with the Blues during the 2026-27 campaign.

Blues' Georgi Romanov: Secures multi-year, two-way deal
Romanov signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Blues on Friday.
After signing with the Blues in October of 2025, Romanov has now secured a multi-year extension after playing exclusively with AHL Springfield on a one-year, two-way contract. Across 28 regular-season appearances, he posted a 9-12-3 record, an .896 save percentage and a 3.29 GAA. The 26-year-old netminder offered a mixed bag of results over 10 regular-season appearances with the Sharks across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns. He could find his way to the NHL with the Blues if the team opts to trade away Jordan Binnington, who is coming off a down year and was in the heart of trade rumors during the 2026 trade deadline.

Blues' Dylan Peterson: Secures one-year deal
Peterson inked a one-year, two-way contract with St. Louis on Thursday.
Peterson has yet to make his NHL debut after two full seasons playing for AHL Springfield. In 57 regular-season games for the Thunderbirds this year, the 24-year-old center notched 12 goals and 12 assists, adding two points in 10 postseason games. At this point, Peterson projects as a fringe roster player, at best, who will likely bounce between leagues even if he does get to make his NHL debut this year.

Blues' Zach Dean: Staying in St. Louis organization
Dean signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.
Dean was limited to 14 points in 36 regular-season outings with AHL Springfield in 2025-26 after spending time in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program. He will get a chance to play a full minor-league campaign after the expiration of his entry-level contract. His last NHL experience came in 2023-24 when he logged nine contests with the Blues.

Blues' Will Cranley: Signs one-year extension
Cranley signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with St. Louis on Monday.
Cranley split time in the 2025-26 regular season between the AHL and the ECHL. He posted a 6-4-0 record with a 3.03 GAA and an .892 save percentage in 10 appearances for AHL Springfield. In 18 outings for ECHL Florida, he went 14-3-1 with a 2.17 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

Blues' Leo Loof: Signs with Finnish team
Loof signed a two-year contract with Ilves of Finland's Liiga on Tuesday.
Loof had two goals and six points in 47 regular-season games for AHL Springfield in 2025-26. He is eligible for restricted free agency this summer, and the Blues can retain his NHL rights by giving him a qualifying offer. The 24-year-old Loof has spent the past three campaigns in the minors and hasn't seen any NHL action yet.

Blues' Georgi Romanov: Collects another shutout
Romanov posted a 20-save shutout in AHL Springfield's 2-0 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in Game 4 on Thursday.
Romanov helped Springfield force a Game 5 with this win. He's allowed just seven goals on 119 shots over four games against WBS in the Atlantic Division Finals. Romanov is 7-3 with two shutouts, a 1.52 GAA and a .949 save percentage in 10 playoff contests.

Blues' Calle Rosen: Posts three assists
Rosen logged three assists in AHL Springfield's 4-3 overtime win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in Game 2 on Thursday.
Rosen has earned three goals and added four assists over nine playoff outings, his most productive postseason since 2018. The defenseman continues to play a significant role for the Thunderbirds. Rosen will look to help Springfield pull ahead in the series in Game 3 on Tuesday.
