Top Jets News

  • Jets' Domenic DiVincentiis: Earns shutout for Moose

DiVincentiis recorded a 39-save shutout in AHL Manitoba's 1-0 win over Grand Rapids in Game 1 on Saturday.

DiVincentiis helped the Moose get off to a surprisingly strong start in their Central Division semifinals series. He's allowed just two goals on 89 shots over three playoff contests so far this year. That comes after a relatively unimpressive regular season in which he had a 13-16-2 record with a 3.03 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 34 appearances. DiVincentiis appears to have the edge over Thomas Milic for starts during Manitoba's postseason run.

  • Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Undergoes shoulder surgery

Salomonsson underwent shoulder surgery Thursday and is expected to be out for 5-6 months, per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.

Salomonsson had a goal and five points in 32 outings with Winnipeg as well as a goal and nine points in 29 appearances with AHL Manitoba in the 2025-26 regular season. He also had an assist in two playoff outings with Manitoba this year. The 21-year-old defenseman might have been in the mix to make the 2026-27 Opening Night roster with Winnipeg if he had entered training camp healthy. However, Salomonsson is now likely to still be recovering from his surgery when training camp begins, which will limit his opportunities to compete for a roster spot.

  • Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Undergoes core muscle surgery

Chibrikov had core muscle surgery recently and will be out 6-8 weeks, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Thursday.

Chibrikov's recovery timeline shouldn't impact his availability for the start of training camp in the fall, but it does mean he won't be an option for AHL Manitoba during the Calder Cup playoffs. In 11 NHL games this year, the 23-year-old winger failed to register a point, and his 16 points in 53 minor-league tilts don't signal much in the way of offensive upside.

  • Jets' Kevin He: Heads to AHL

He was transferred from OHL Flint to AHL Manitoba on Thursday.

He had 39 goals and 77 points in 60 regular-season OHL outings between Niagara and Flint in 2025-26. The 19-year-old was selected by Winnipeg with the No. 109 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

  • Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Heads to AHL

Salomonsson (concussion) was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Wednesday.

Salomonsson was in the concussion protocol, but this move suggests that he's been cleared medically. The 21-year-old had a goal and five points across 32 outings with Winnipeg in 2025-26.

  • Jets' Parker Ford: Racks up three points Saturday

Ford scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Manitoba's 6-1 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Ford has five points over his last five outings. The forward is up to eight goals, 26 points, 95 shots on net and a plus-5 rating over 52 appearances for the Moose. He also saw 15 games for the Jets, but he was limited to one assist, 10 shots on net and 27 hits in those contests.

  • Jets' Colby Barlow: Scores twice in AHL win

Barlow scored two goals in AHL Manitoba's 6-1 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Barlow has mostly struggled this season, but he has five goals over his last eight outings. For the season, he's at eight goals, 16 points, 88 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 65 appearances. That level of production won't make it easy for Barlow to get to the NHL anytime soon -- he'll likely need more development time in 2026-27.

  • Jets' Cole Koepke: Agrees to two-year extension

Koepke signed a two-year, $2.9 million contract extension with the Jets on Saturday.

Koepke was eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer after completing his one-year, $1 million contract. He had eight goals, 17 points, 16 PIM, 86 shots and 186 hits in 66 appearances with the Jets this season. Koepke should be in the mix to continue to serve in a bottom-six capacity in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Jets' Brayden Yager: Returned to AHL

Yager was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Saturday.

Yager made his NHL debut against Vegas on Monday. He didn't earn a point in three appearances with the Jets down the stretch, but he provided two shots on goal. Yager has 10 goals and 20 assists in 68 AHL contests this campaign.

  • Jets' Brad Lambert: Sent to AHL

Lambert was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Saturday.

Lambert had three goals, six points, 27 shots on net and 22 hits in 25 NHL appearances this season. He also has six goals and seven assists in 34 AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Jets' Cole Koepke: Pots goal in season finale

Koepke scored a goal, placed two shots on net and dished out two hits in Thursday's 6-1 loss to San Jose.

Koepke tallied the lone goal for the Jets in the team's season finale, scoring an unassisted goal less than three and a half minutes into regulation to give Winnipeg an early lead. With the twine finder, Koepke finished the campaign with eight goals, 17 points, 86 shots on net and 186 hits across 66 games this season. Thursday's tally helped the 27-year-old winger tie his point output across 73 games a season ago. He maintained his physical playstyle and set a new career high in hits this season, which should keep him involved in a bottom-six role next year.

  • Jets' Eric Comrie: Yields six goals in loss

Comrie stopped 27 of 33 shots on net in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Sharks.

Comrie struggled in Winnipeg's season finale, as he allowed two goals in the opening period before surrendering three more tallies in the second. With the loss, the 30-year-old netminder will wrap the season with a 12-11-1 record, a 3.13 GAA and an .890 save percentage across 25 outings this season. He improved as the season dragged on, with six wins over his final eight outings, but primarily served as Connor Hellebuyck's backup when the latter was fully healthy. Comrie is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, leaving his viability in fantasy up in the air ahead of next season.

  • Jets' Garrett Brown: Inks entry-level deal

Brown agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with Winnipeg on Thursday.

Brown just wrapped up his junior season with the University of Denver, taking home his second National Championship with the Pioneers. In his 33 outings this year, the 22-year-old defenseman notched two goals and 10 assists. Selected by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft, Brown will likely spend time developing in the minors before getting a look at the NHL level.

  • Jets' Neal Pionk: Expected to miss season finale

Pionk (undisclosed) is slated to miss the Jets' season finale against San Jose on Thursday.

Pionk was limited to 51 outings in 2025-26, and he's set to finish the season with three goals, 12 points, 37 PIM, 111 hits and 75 blocks. Winnipeg didn't secure a playoff berth, so this marks the end of the first campaign of his six-year, $42 million contract.

  • Jets' Gustav Nyquist: Not playing in season finale

Nyquist (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Thursday's tilt versus San Jose.

Nyquist will miss his 10th straight game to end the regular season. He had one goal and 11 assists in 51 games with the Jets in 2025-26 and at the age of 36, he may not get another opportunity to play at the NHL level.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Remains out Thursday

Namestnikov (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup versus the Sharks on Thursday.

Namestnikov will see his 2025-26 campaign end with him on the shelf due to his undisclosed injury. When healthy, the 33-year-old forward struggled to produce, garnering eight goals and six helpers in 60 contests, his lowest point total of his career.

  • Jets' Alex Iafallo: Slated to miss season finale

Iafallo (undisclosed) is expected to miss Winnipeg's season finale against San Jose on Thursday.

Iafallo also missed the Jets' previous two games. He's set to finish the campaign with 13 goals and 29 points in 79 appearances with the Jets. Winnipeg fell short of a playoff berth, so Iafallo will have plenty of time to focus on his recovery ahead of next season's training camp.

  • Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Ruled out Thursday

Salomonsson remains in concussion protocol and will not play in Thursday's season finale against San Jose, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Salomonsson will miss his seventh straight game after he was injured in Dallas on April 2. Salomonsson had one goal and four assists with 50 hits in 32 regular-season games this season.
