Runyan (shoulder) is nearing a return to the practice field with the Giants, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Runyan remained unavailable for Tuesday's practice session, but head coach Brian Daboll said that the offensive lineman is "close" to a return. Runyan signed with New York in the offseason and he's expected to operate as a starting offensive guard in 2024.

An already depleted Packers offensive line takes another blow, as Runyan was seen in a walking boot Friday. According to Demovsky, Green Bay's starting guard luckily avoided a high-ankle sprain and is hopeful to play during Week 5's contest against Las Vegas.
