• Raiders' Segun Olubi: Inks with Raiders

  Las Vegas signed Olubi to a contract Monday. Olubi will bring his talents to the Raiders after having spent the last four seasons as a key special-teams asset in Indianapolis. Though he also saw action as a depth linebacker for the Colts in 2023, when he recorded a career-high 26 tackles (20 solo), across the last two years combined Olubi has only recorded 27 defensive snaps.

He was healthy after missing time early in training camp with an ankle injury.   Olubi did not participate in the Colts' practice Saturday due to an ankle injury, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Olubi appears to have picked up an ankle injury at training camp, which forced him to take a seat at practice Saturday. The linebacker signed a one-year deal with the team in January, and he could be at risk of being unavailable for Thursday's preseason opener against the Ravens.

  Olubi had five total tackles and forced a fumble in Sunday's win over Miami. Olubi played his first snaps of the season on defense and was thrust into a significant role with E.J. Speed out with a knee injury and Jaylon Carlies leaving the game with an ankle injury. Olubi played on 21 of the defense's 69 snaps and could see a larger role next week against Houston.

  Olubi notched 26 tackles (20 solo), one pass defensed, one interception and one fumble recovery across 15 regular-season games with the Colts in 2023. Olubi missed two games due to a hip injury in 2023, and when healthy handled mostly a special-teams role for Indianapolis. He did start one game, Week 9 versus Carolina, and finished with six tackles (four solo), one pass breakup and one INT. Olubi is set to become an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason.
