• Ja'Mori Maclin: Signs with Bills' practice squad

  Rotowire Sep 1, 2026

Maclin inked a practice-squad contract with Buffalo on Monday, Alec White and Mike Maynard of the team's official site report. Maclin joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent in early May and had some promising moments during the preseason slate, including a 71-yard touchdown catch. He was waived Sunday but will remain in the Buffalo organization on the practice squad. Maclin's path to game-day opportunities will likely depend upon the health of the Bills' receiver corps.

• Ja'Mori Maclin: Waived by Bills

  Rotowire Aug 30, 2026

Maclin was waived by the Bills on Sunday, Alex Brasky of SI.com reports. The wide receiver flashed big-play ability during the preseason with Buffalo, recording a 71-yard catch-and-run touchdown and a 37-yard over-the-shoulder grab in the same preseason game. It was just hard to crack a Buffalo receiver room filled with experienced pros like DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir (undisclosed), Keon Coleman (foot) and Joshua Palmer. Maclin will likely rejoin the team as part of its practice squad if he clears waivers, per Brasky.
