  • Aaron Crawford: Joins Chargers' practice squad

    The Chargers signed Crawford to their practice squad Wednesday. Crawford was waived by the Giants with an undisclosed non-football injury designation at the beginning of November, but he appears to have moved past the issue and will get a new opportunity with the Chargers. The undrafted defensive tackle out of North Carolina has played in only one NFL game, which came in 2020 with the Ravens.

    Crawford (undisclosed) was waived with a non-football injury designation by the Giants on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Crawford last played in the NFL in 2020. He has battled a litany of injuries since, though the nature of his most recent injury has not been revealed.

  • Ravens' Aaron Crawford: Back on practice field

    Crawford is back in the mix for a rotational role at defensive tackle after missing the entirety of the 2021 season while on injured reserve, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Crawford was waived ahead of last regular season with an undisclosed injury, but he reverted to the team's injured reserve list after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 24-year-old will now likely compete with Isaiah Mack and Rayshad Nichols for a backup role along Baltimore's defensive line.
