  Ives (undisclosed) has agreed to an injury settlement with the Bears, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports. Ives was orginally waived/injured by the Bears. However, he ultimately went unclaimed on waivers and reverted back to their IR. Now that he and the team have come to terms on an injury settlement, he'll be able to search for a new opportunity once his health allows it.

Ives signed a reserve/future contract with Chicago in January, but he apparently suffered an injury early in camp. The nature of the issue isn't yet known, but the wide receiver will revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
