  • Ka'dar Hollman: Works out with Houston

Hollman (knee) had a tryout with the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hollman last appeared in an NFL regular-season contest in 2024, suffering a torn ACL in the Texans' loss to the Titans in Week 12 of that season. The cornerback missed the entirety of the 2025 campaign, but he's now back to full health ahead of the 2026 season and may even return to Houston.

  • Texans' Ka'dar Hollman: Shifts to IR

Hollman (knee) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. The 30-year-old from Toledo tore his ACL in the Texans' Week 12 loss to the Titans, so Wednesday's shift to IR comes as no surprise. Hollman appeared in 10 games this season before sustaining this injury, recording 13 total tackles while primarily contributing on special teams.

  • Texans' Ka'dar Hollman: Hurts knee in Week 12

Hollman has been ruled out from returning to Sunday's game against Tennessee due to a knee injury. Hollman's injury came on a Houston punt in the fourth quarter that was muffed by Tennessee and recovered by the Texans. It didn't take long thereafter for Hollman to be ruled out, though he was at least able to walk back to the locker room. Hollman started at cornerback last week against Dallas but went back to a rotational role Sunday with Kamari Lassiter returning from a one-game absence.

Houston signed Hollman off the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hollman has actually already suited up for three games this year with Baltimore, but now he'll get a full-time spot on the Texans' active roster. All 67 snaps he's played in 2024 have come on special teams.

  • Texans' Ka'dar Hollman: Expected to start

Hollman is likely to start in place of the injured Shaquill Griffin Sunday against the Falcons, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The fifth-year pro has only started one other game in 22 career appearances. Hollman has two tackles in 2023.

  • 49ers' Ka'dar Hollman: Joins Niners

San Francisco signed Hollman to a reserve/future deal Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. A sixth-round selection of the Packers in 2019, Hollman appeared in 18 games across his first two NFL seasons before being dealt to the Texans ahead of the 2021 campaign. Hollman couldn't crack Houston's roster and ultimately found his way to the Giants' practice squad. He'll now look to carve out a role with the 49ers in 2022.

  • Ka'dar Hollman: Clears COVID protocols

The Giants activated Hollman (undisclosed) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. Hollman hit the COVID list due to a positive test late December, but he's now cleared the league's health and safety protocols. He can thus return to team facilities this week, though he remains on the practice squad injured list for the time being.

  • Ka'dar Hollman: Parts ways with Texans

Hollman was waived by the Texans on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hollman was traded from the Packers to the Texans last week, and he played 28 percent of the team's defensive snaps in Saturday's preseason loss to the Buccaneers. However, he failed to make the team's 53-man roster and will search for a new opportunity ahead of the regular season.
