PJ Mustipher: Let go with injury settlement

The Cardinals waived Mustipher (foot) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Mustipher was slated to miss the entire 2026 season after being placed on injured reserve Saturday, but the settlement allows the Penn State product to sign and play with a team once he's fully recovered from his foot injury. He appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Cardinals in 2025, finishing with 32 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defense.

Cardinals' PJ Mustipher: Re-signed by Arizona

Mustipher signed his one-year ERFA tender with the Cardinals on Tuesday. Mustipher is coming off a career year, having suited up for 15 regular-season games with Arizona in 2025. He totaled 32 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defensed in that span. Expect Mustipher to spend the offseason competing for a reserve role along the interior defensive line.
