  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Ties career high with four catches

Ruckert caught four of five targets for 23 yards in Thursday's 27-14 loss to the Patriots. Ruckert tied for the team lead in catches with Mason Taylor, as Justin Fields frequently looked for his tight ends in the absence of top wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee), who was placed on IR prior to the game. Taylor has a higher ceiling as a pass catcher than Ruckert, as the latter hasn't exceeded 28 yards in a game this season. Ruckert's four catches tied his career high, which he set in Week 5 against the Cowboys.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Another one-catch game

Ruckert caught his only target for no gain in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Browns. Ruckert's catch accounted for one of just six passes completed by Justin Fields, who threw for only 54 yards in the win. Ruckert's backup role in a low-octane passing offense doesn't inspire much confidence for fantasy production.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: One catch in Week 8 win

Ruckert caught his only target for 24 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. Ruckert maintained a secondary role as Mason Taylor (quadriceps) suited up after being listed as questionable. Taylor led the team with eight targets and caught the game-winning touchdown. Ruckert's likely to remain in a backup role after the Jets' Week 9 bye.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Hauls in 23-yard pass

Ruckert caught his lone target for 23 yards during the Jets' 27-21 loss to the Dolphins on Monday. Ruckert continues to be firmly entrenched as the Jets' TE2 behind rookie first-rounder Mason Taylor, with the former playing 25 snaps on offense and seven on special teams during Monday's loss. Ruckert has opened the 2025 regular season with a 4-44-1 line through four games.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Scores first NFL TD

Ruckert caught his only target for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Bills. Ruckert caught his first NFL touchdown in his 43rd game. It came on a pass from Tyrod Taylor to cap the scoring with 3:28 remaining in the fourth quarter. Taylor could start in Week 3 against the Buccaneers if Justin Fields (concussion) isn't ready to return, so perhaps Ruckert will have a chance to build on their connection in this game.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Two catches to Taylor's one

Ruckert caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 34-32 loss to the Steelers. Ruckert had one more target than Mason Taylor, though the rookie second-round pick turned his only look into a 20-yard catch. Ruckert looks like he'll have some involvement on offense, but the 2022 third-round draft pick hasn't scored a touchdown through 42 NFL games.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Returns to backup spot

Ruckert caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams. Ruckert returned to a backup role with Tyler Conklin (personal) back from a one-game absence, but Ruckert had only one catch while Conklin was sidelined in Week 15 against the Jaguars. The 2022 third-round draft pick has shown limited upside as a pass catcher, as Ruckert has yet to score a touchdown in his career.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: One catch in Conklin's absence

Ruckert caught one of three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 32-25 win over the Jaguars. Ruckert was the only Jets tight end to be targeted in the absence of Tyler Conklin (personal), but the Lindenhurst, NY native didn't take advantage of the added opportunities. Ruckert has yet to exceed 17 yards in a game this season, and he won't have much fantasy upside in Week 16 against the Rams, regardless of Conklin's availability.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Season-high three catches in loss

Ruckert caught all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots. As usual, Ruckert was a distant No. 2 at tight end behind Tyler Conklin, who caught a short touchdown for the second consecutive game. Ruckert has yet to exceed 15 receiving yards in a game this season, and the 2022 third-round draft pick is still searching for his first career touchdown heading into Week 9 against the Texans.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Two receptions in Week 4

Ruckert caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Broncos. Ruckert has put together back-to-back two-catch efforts, but he has just four targets to Tyler Conklin's 14 over that span. With Conklin firmly atop the depth chart and the Jets' offense as a whole struggling to find consistency, Ruckert remains off the fantasy radar until further notice.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Blanked on three Week 2 targets

Ruckert didn't catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans. Ruckert played only 21 of 57 snaps on offense compared to 53 of 57 for Tyler Conklin, but Ruckert finished with one more target. The third-year pro didn't take advantage of his opportunities, which included an end-zone target on which Ruckert seemed to cut his route a little short. Ruckert's still searching for his first catch of the season heading into Thursday's home opener against the Patriots.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Works as Conklin's backup

Ruckert wasn't targeted in Monday's 32-19 loss to the 49ers. Tyler Conklin's two targets accounted for all of the pass-catching opportunities afforded to Jets tight ends in the season opener. Ruckert played 33 percent of snaps on offense to Conklin's 90 percent, so it would likely take an injury to Conklin to clear the way for Ruckert to see significant playing time.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Participating in OTAs

Ruckert (concussion) took part in OTAs on Tuesday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports. Ruckert appeared in the first 15 games for the Jets last season, but he missed the final two contests due to a concussion he sustained in Week 16 against the Commanders. Ruckert served as the backup tight end behind Tyler Conklin, finishing with 16 catches on 22 targets for 151 yards while playing 301 snaps on offense and 205 snaps on special teams. Ruckert caught passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers during seven-on-seven drills Tuesday.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Lands on IR

Ruckert (concussion) was placed on the Jets' injured reserve Saturday. This means Ruckert's season is over, and he will now have to set his sights on preparing for the 2024 campaign. He will end the year with 151 yards on 16 receptions across 15 games. In his absence, Kenny Yeboah and Zack Kuntz will be available to provide depth at tight end behind Tyler Conklin.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Remains out

Ruckert (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports. Ruckert suffered the concussion Week 16 against the Commanders, which ultimately put an end to his second NFL campaign. The Ohio State product saw a significant bump in work this season, going from 42 offensive snaps during his rookie year to 301 in 2023. Ruckert will finish the season with 16 catches on 22 targets and 151 yards receiving. Kenny Yeboah should continue seeing an increased workload Week 18 against New England.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Won't play Week 17

Head coach Robert Saleh said Ruckert (concussion) won't be available for Thursday's game versus Cleveland, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports. Ruckert departed with a concussion in the third quarter of Sunday's win over Washington and wasn't able to return. With the Jets facing a quick turnaround for Week 17, Ruckert won't have sufficient time to clear the five-step protocol before Thursday's contest. Kenny Yeboah will likely work as Tyler Conklin's primary backup until Ruckert is ready to return.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Catches both Week 15 targets

Ruckert caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 30-0 loss to the Dolphins. Ruckert had only two targets while fellow tight end Tyler Conklin saw seven, but Ruckert finished only two yards shy of Conklin's total. Trevor Siemian failed to lead New York's offense to any points after Zach Wilson (concussion) got hurt in the first half, so Jets pass catchers will be tough to trust in Week 16, even against the leaky Commanders pass defense.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Career-high 37 yards in win

Ruckert caught all three of his targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans. Ruckert was once again outplayed by fellow tight end Tyler Conklin, who had four catches for 57 yards on six targets. His contributions Sunday included an impressive catch along the sideline on which Ruckert kept his concentration to secure a bobbling ball while rolling over a Houston defender. Heading into a Week 15 clash with the Dolphins, Ruckert has 14 catches for 135 yards on 20 targets.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Three targets in loss

Ruckert caught one of three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons. Ruckert had three targets compared to nine for fellow tight end Tyler Conklin. Heading into a Week 14 home game against Houston, Ruckert has 11 catches for 98 yards on 17 targets.

  • Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Two catches in Week 12 loss

Ruckert caught two of four targets for 18 yards in Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins. Ruckert finished one target and 15 yards shy of Tyler Conklin's totals, while fellow tight end C.J. Uzomah went without a target. With four targets in each of the last two games, Ruckert has established himself as the team's No. 2 tight end behind Conklin, and Ruckert, a 2022 third-round draft pick, could see his role grow further down the stretch given the Jets' stated desire to get young skill position players more involved.
