  • Bears' Daniel Hardy: Inks new deal with Chicago

The Bears re-signed Hardy to a two-year, $6 million contract Sunday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Hardy was scheduled to be a restricted free agent this week but now will stick in Chicago through the 2027 campaign. The 27-year-old appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, logging 22 tackles (seven solo) as a core special teams player for Chicago.

  • Rams' Daniel Hardy: Making return from IR

The Rams activated Hardy (ankle) from their injured reserve list Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Seattle. After missing the entirety of his rookie season up to this point, Hardy could be on track to make his NFL debut in Week 13 versus the Seahawks. And with the Rams quite thin at outside linebacker, he could be asked to fill a significant role right away.

  • Rams' Daniel Hardy: Going to Los Angeles

The Rams selected Hardy in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 235th overall. Hardy was overshadowed by Montana State teammate and second-round pick Troy Andersen, but Hardy evidently caught the eye of the Rams anyway. He posted interesting pro day numbers at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, making up for a mediocre 4.69-second 40 with memorable numbers in the vertical (40 inches), broad jump (127 inches) and three-cone drill (6.71 seconds).
