  • Bears' Daniel Hardy: Inks new deal with Chicago

The Bears re-signed Hardy to a two-year, $6 million contract Sunday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Hardy was scheduled to be a restricted free agent this week but now will stick in Chicago through the 2027 campaign. The 27-year-old appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, logging 22 tackles (seven solo) as a core special teams player for Chicago.

  • Rams' Daniel Hardy: Going to Los Angeles

The Rams selected Hardy in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 235th overall. Hardy was overshadowed by Montana State teammate and second-round pick Troy Andersen, but Hardy evidently caught the eye of the Rams anyway. He posted interesting pro day numbers at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, making up for a mediocre 4.69-second 40 with memorable numbers in the vertical (40 inches), broad jump (127 inches) and three-cone drill (6.71 seconds).
