  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Ruled out for Week 15

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn ruled Taylor (neck) out for Sunday's game in Jacksonville. Taylor was unable to practice in any fashion this week and will now miss his first game of the season as he tends to the neck injury. The timing of the absence is a tough break for Taylor, who had recorded five catches for 51 yards -- his most since Week 5 -- on eight targets in this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. With Taylor sidelined this weekend, the Jets will likely turn to Jeremy Ruckert as their starting tight end.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Another DNP on Thursday

Taylor (neck) remained a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Taylor has missed the first two practices of Week 15 prep. He'll likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to have a chance to play Sunday at Jacksonville. Jeremy Ruckert would likely take on a larger role if Taylor sits out Sunday, with Stone Smartt (concussion) and Jelani Woods also possibly seeing more action.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: DNP due to neck injury Wednesday

Taylor (neck) didn't practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. This is a new injury for Taylor, who was the Jets' leading receiver with five catches for 51 yards in this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. The rookie second-round pick will have two more chances to increase his participation level ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 15 Waiver Priority List

Taylor just had a solid game in Week 14 against Miami with five catches for 51 yards on eight targets, and he has another favorable matchup in Week 15 at Jacksonville. The Jaguars are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and Taylor could be a starting option in deeper leagues. Just keep an eye on his quarterback situation with Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) hurt, but Taylor can still perform well with Brady Cook under center. Taylor is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Leading receiver in Week 14 loss

Taylor caught five of eight targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins. Taylor led the Jets in catches and receiving yards while tying John Metchie for the team lead in targets. Rookie quarterback Brady Cook showed a nice connection with Taylor after replacing the injured Tyrod Taylor (groin) in the first half, so the rookie tight end's fantasy outlook is unlikely to be significantly impacted regardless of whether Cook, Tyrod or Justin Fields (knee) starts at quarterback in Week 15 against a Jaguars defense that has struggled to defend tight ends.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Two catches in win

Taylor caught two of four targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Falcons. Taylor finished second on the team in receiving yards, though he was nowhere close to leading receiver Adonai Mitchell, who caught eight of 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. The Jets don't generate much offense through the air, but Taylor reliably gets a few opportunities per game, as this was only the second time in the last six outings that the rookie second-round pick has been held short of three receptions. Up next for Taylor and the Jets is a Week 14 home game against the Dolphins.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Three catches with Tyrod at QB

Taylor caught three of five targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Ravens. Taylor didn't see a significant change in production as the Jets benched Justin Fields in favor of Tyrod Taylor (no relation to Mason) at quarterback. Tyrod will likely remain the starter against the Falcons in Week 13. The Jets' rookie tight end has recorded at least three catches in four of the past five games, and that stretch includes Taylor's lone touchdown catch.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: TEs to Sit

I'm hopeful that Tyrod Taylor will benefit Mason Taylor now that Justin Fields has been benched, but this isn't the matchup to trust Taylor as a starting Fantasy tight end. In his past two games against the Browns and Patriots, Taylor has combined for five catches for 34 yards on six targets. He has one touchdown on the season, and the Ravens are dominant against tight ends. Baltimore has allowed just two touchdowns to tight ends all season, and only three guys have scored double digits in PPR against the Ravens this year.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Sit Tight Ends

Garrett Wilson (knee) is out for Week 11 at New England, which should be a boost for Taylor, especially since the Patriots are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. But Taylor has scored 6.1 PPR points or less in three of his past four games, and he just had one catch for 4 yards in Week 10 against Cleveland. It's too hard to trust Taylor with Justin Fields right now, and Taylor is only worth starting in deep, tight-end premium leagues.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

The Ravens have only allowed two touchdowns to tight ends this season, and they did a good job on Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. in Week 2. Joe Flacco was the Browns quarterback then and not Dillon Gabriel, but Njoku only had four catches for 40 yards on five targets in that first meeting. And while Njoku has scored at least 10.1 PPR points in three of his past four games, I don't like that he only had two catches for 21 yards on two targets in Week 10 at the Jets. Fannin is still worth using as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end, but I would only use Njoku in deeper leagues in this matchup with Baltimore.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Two targets in run-heavy win

Taylor caught one of two targets for four yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Browns. The only other Jets player with multiple targets in the game was Garrett Wilson (knee), who had three targets prior to exiting Sunday's win. Taylor has had an inconsistent rookie season, seeing two or fewer targets on four occasions and five or more targets five times. Given the Jets' lack of talent at wide receiver, Taylor could see a bump in volume if the Jets fall behind and pass more against the Patriots in Week 11.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Sit Tight Ends

Taylor got the Bengals boost in Week 8 at Cincinnati with five catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on eight targets, and he scored 14.4 PPR points. It was his first touchdown of the season, but it came on a trick play from Breece Hall. Taylor was held to 6.1 PPR points or less in two games prior to facing the Bengals, and this is a tough matchup against the Browns in Week 10. Mark Andrews, Tucker Kraft, Sam LaPorta, T.J. Hockenson and Hunter Henry have been held to 9.8 PPR points or less against Cleveland, and I would only start Taylor in deeper leagues based on the matchup.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

The last time we saw Taylor he had his first touchdown in Week 8 at Cincinnati, and he scored 14.4 PPR points. He has now scored at least 11.5 PPR points in three of his past five games, and hopefully he'll stay hot coming off the bye in Week 9. Justin Fields should continue to lean on Taylor, who has at least seven targets in three of his past five outings, and he should be considered a low-end starter in all leagues heading into Week 10 against Cleveland. Taylor is worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Sleeper TEs

We'll see who starts at quarterback for the Jets in Week 8 at Cincinnati, out of Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor, but Garrett Wilson (knee) remains out. But none of that should matter for Taylor, given his matchup with the Bengals, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Cincinnati has allowed a whopping nine touchdowns to tight ends this season, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues in this matchup.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

I thought Taylor would play well in Week 8 at Cincinnati, and he came through with five catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. He has now scored at least 11.5 PPR points in three of his past five games, and I would roster him even with the Jets on a bye in Week 9. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues for the rest of the season, and he's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Catches game-winning TD in Week 8

Taylor (quadriceps) caught five of eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. Taylor played through a quadriceps injury and led the Jets in targets. The first touchdown catch of his NFL career was a dramatic one, as running back Breece Hall found Taylor in the back of the end zone on a trick play for the game-winning score from four yards out just after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. The Jets could get some reinforcements at wide receiver if Garrett Wilson (knee) or Josh Reynolds (hip) can return after the team's Week 9 bye, but Taylor should remain involved as a pass catcher in the second half of his rookie campaign.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Receives green light for Week 8

Taylor (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Taylor wasn't included on the Jets' initial Week 8 injury report released Wednesday, but he then sat out Thursday's practice due to the quad issue before returning to the field Friday as a limited participant. The rookie appears to have made enough progress since Friday's session to give it a go Sunday, though it's possible that the Jets monitor his snaps closely if he's operating at less than 100 percent. Whenever he's on the field for passing downs, Taylor will likely rank as one of the top targets for quarterback Justin Fields, especially with No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) slated to miss a second straight game.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Likely to play Sunday

Taylor (quadriceps), who has been deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Taylor popped up on Thursday's injury report after missing practice due to the quad injury, but he practiced in a limited fashion Friday and now appears likely to give it a go Sunday, barring a setback. In that scenario, Taylor will again be trying to catch passes from Justin Fields, who will remain the team's starting quarterback for at least another week, perhaps partly as a result of backup Tyrod Taylor being ruled out due to a knee injury. Expect Taylor to rank as one of Fields' preferred targets Sunday due to top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) being slated to miss another game.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Justin Fields will start for the Jets in Week 8, but Garrett Wilson (knee) and Josh Reynolds (hip) are out. Fields should lean on Taylor this week given his matchup with the Bengals, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Cincinnati has allowed a whopping nine touchdowns to tight ends this season, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues in this matchup.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Taylor has let us down in each of his past two games against Denver and Carolina with a combined four catches for 33 yards on six targets, but I'm going right back to him in Week 8 with his matchup against the Bengals. Cincinnati is No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and the Bengals have allowed nine touchdowns to the position, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues, and he's worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.
