I'm hopeful that Tyrod Taylor will benefit Mason Taylor now that Justin Fields has been benched, but this isn't the matchup to trust Taylor as a starting Fantasy tight end. In his past two games against the Browns and Patriots, Taylor has combined for five catches for 34 yards on six targets. He has one touchdown on the season, and the Ravens are dominant against tight ends. Baltimore has allowed just two touchdowns to tight ends all season, and only three guys have scored double digits in PPR against the Ravens this year.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Sit Tight Ends
Rotowire
Garrett Wilson (knee) is out for Week 11 at New England, which should be a boost for Taylor, especially since the Patriots are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. But Taylor has scored 6.1 PPR points or less in three of his past four games, and he just had one catch for 4 yards in Week 10 against Cleveland. It's too hard to trust Taylor with Justin Fields right now, and Taylor is only worth starting in deep, tight-end premium leagues.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Four-catch night in loss
Rotowire
Taylor brought in all four targets for 30 yards in the Jets' 27-14 loss to the Patriots on Thursday night.
Taylor put a one-reception effort against the Browns on Sunday behind him with Thursday's performance, his third mult-catch tally in the last four games. The rookie's talent is unquestioned, but his game-to-game production is still subject to the whims of QB Justin Fields' passing performances. As such, Taylor will remain an unpredictable fantasy option in a tough Week 12 road matchup against the Ravens.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
The Ravens have only allowed two touchdowns to tight ends this season, and they did a good job on Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. in Week 2. Joe Flacco was the Browns quarterback then and not Dillon Gabriel, but Njoku only had four catches for 40 yards on five targets in that first meeting. And while Njoku has scored at least 10.1 PPR points in three of his past four games, I don't like that he only had two catches for 21 yards on two targets in Week 10 at the Jets. Fannin is still worth using as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end, but I would only use Njoku in deeper leagues in this matchup with Baltimore.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Two targets in run-heavy win
Rotowire
Taylor caught one of two targets for four yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Browns.
The only other Jets player with multiple targets in the game was Garrett Wilson (knee), who had three targets prior to exiting Sunday's win. Taylor has had an inconsistent rookie season, seeing two or fewer targets on four occasions and five or more targets five times. Given the Jets' lack of talent at wide receiver, Taylor could see a bump in volume if the Jets fall behind and pass more against the Patriots in Week 11.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Sit Tight Ends
Rotowire
Taylor got the Bengals boost in Week 8 at Cincinnati with five catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on eight targets, and he scored 14.4 PPR points. It was his first touchdown of the season, but it came on a trick play from Breece Hall. Taylor was held to 6.1 PPR points or less in two games prior to facing the Bengals, and this is a tough matchup against the Browns in Week 10. Mark Andrews, Tucker Kraft, Sam LaPorta, T.J. Hockenson and Hunter Henry have been held to 9.8 PPR points or less against Cleveland, and I would only start Taylor in deeper leagues based on the matchup.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 10 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
The last time we saw Taylor he had his first touchdown in Week 8 at Cincinnati, and he scored 14.4 PPR points. He has now scored at least 11.5 PPR points in three of his past five games, and hopefully he'll stay hot coming off the bye in Week 9. Justin Fields should continue to lean on Taylor, who has at least seven targets in three of his past five outings, and he should be considered a low-end starter in all leagues heading into Week 10 against Cleveland. Taylor is worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Sleeper TEs
Rotowire
We'll see who starts at quarterback for the Jets in Week 8 at Cincinnati, out of Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor, but Garrett Wilson (knee) remains out. But none of that should matter for Taylor, given his matchup with the Bengals, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Cincinnati has allowed a whopping nine touchdowns to tight ends this season, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues in this matchup.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 9 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
I thought Taylor would play well in Week 8 at Cincinnati, and he came through with five catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. He has now scored at least 11.5 PPR points in three of his past five games, and I would roster him even with the Jets on a bye in Week 9. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues for the rest of the season, and he's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Catches game-winning TD in Week 8
Rotowire
Taylor (quadriceps) caught five of eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals.
Taylor played through a quadriceps injury and led the Jets in targets. The first touchdown catch of his NFL career was a dramatic one, as running back Breece Hall found Taylor in the back of the end zone on a trick play for the game-winning score from four yards out just after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. The Jets could get some reinforcements at wide receiver if Garrett Wilson (knee) or Josh Reynolds (hip) can return after the team's Week 9 bye, but Taylor should remain involved as a pass catcher in the second half of his rookie campaign.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Receives green light for Week 8
Rotowire
Taylor (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Taylor wasn't included on the Jets' initial Week 8 injury report released Wednesday, but he then sat out Thursday's practice due to the quad issue before returning to the field Friday as a limited participant. The rookie appears to have made enough progress since Friday's session to give it a go Sunday, though it's possible that the Jets monitor his snaps closely if he's operating at less than 100 percent. Whenever he's on the field for passing downs, Taylor will likely rank as one of the top targets for quarterback Justin Fields, especially with No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) slated to miss a second straight game.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Likely to play Sunday
Rotowire
Taylor (quadriceps), who has been deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Taylor popped up on Thursday's injury report after missing practice due to the quad injury, but he practiced in a limited fashion Friday and now appears likely to give it a go Sunday, barring a setback. In that scenario, Taylor will again be trying to catch passes from Justin Fields, who will remain the team's starting quarterback for at least another week, perhaps partly as a result of backup Tyrod Taylor being ruled out due to a knee injury. Expect Taylor to rank as one of Fields' preferred targets Sunday due to top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) being slated to miss another game.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Justin Fields will start for the Jets in Week 8, but Garrett Wilson (knee) and Josh Reynolds (hip) are out. Fields should lean on Taylor this week given his matchup with the Bengals, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Cincinnati has allowed a whopping nine touchdowns to tight ends this season, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues in this matchup.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Taylor has let us down in each of his past two games against Denver and Carolina with a combined four catches for 33 yards on six targets, but I'm going right back to him in Week 8 with his matchup against the Bengals. Cincinnati is No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and the Bengals have allowed nine touchdowns to the position, including seven in the past three games against Detroit, Green Bay and Pittsburgh. I like Taylor as a low-end starter in all leagues, and he's worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Involved with Wilson absent
Rotowire
Taylor recorded three receptions on five targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Panthers.
Taylor stepped up as expected in the absence of Garrett Wilson (knee), though the quarterback play held back his stat line. He finished second on the team in targets behind Josh Reynolds despite not getting any looks until midway through the third quarter with Tyrod Taylor under center. Taylor has shown some promise in his rookie season, but it's difficult to trust any Jets pass catcher while Wilson is sidelined and the signal caller remains in flux.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Sleeper TEs

Taylor should be the No. 1 option in the passing game for the Jets in Week 7 with Garrett Wilson (knee) out, and this is a great matchup against Carolina. The Panthers are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and four guys have already scored at least 11.9 PPR points against Carolina, including Trey McBride, Hunter Henry, Darren Waller, and Jake Ferguson. Taylor was bad in Week 6 against Denver in London with one catch for 2 yards on one target, but prior to that, he scored at least 11.5 PPR points in two games in a row against Miami and Dallas. He should bounce back in a big way in this game at home.

Taylor was a disappointment in Week 6 against the Broncos with one catch for 2 yards on one target, but no one played well for the Jets in their 13-11 loss. I expect Taylor to bounce back in Week 7 against the Panthers, who are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and Taylor scored at least 11.5 PPR points in each of his two previous games prior to Week 6. Garrett Wilson (knee) also isn't expected to play in Week 7, which is a huge plus for Taylor. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Jets' Mason Taylor: Major downturn in loss
Rotowire
Taylor secured his only target for two yards in the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London on Sunday.
Just one week after posting a career-best 9-67-0 line on 12 targets, Taylor nearly pulled a complete disappearing act in Sunday's low-scoring loss. However, the rookie tight end was hardly the only Jets pass catcher to experience a forgettable afternoon, considering Justin Fields threw for just 45 yards and was sacked nine times. The Week 7 outlook for the entire offense is much brighter, however, as New York welcomes in the Panthers to MetLife Stadium for a Week 7 matchup next Sunday.
