  • Harrison Hand: Gets look from Dallas

Hand (knee) worked out with the Cowboys on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hand suffered a knee injury in August last year and spent the entire season on IR. He's now healthy again and looking to latch on with an NFL organization. Hand last saw game action in 2022, when he logged 12 tackles, one defensed pass and one forced fumble over four regular-season contests with the Bears.

  • Falcons' Harrison Hand: Out for season

Hand (knee) was placed on injured reserve Sunday and is out for the season, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports. The cornerback had to leave practice early Wednesday after going down following a deep pass during an 11-on-11 drill, and it was later revealed that he suffered a knee injury. Hand signed with the Falcons in June after getting waived by the Bears in April of 2023. The 2020 fifth-round pick of the Vikings last saw NFL action in 2022.

  • Vikings' Harrison Hand: Logs full practice

Hand (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Hand missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury. In the season opener, he played exclusively on special teams. Hand will likely serve in a similar role in Week 4 against the Browns if Bashaud Breeland (illness) is good to go.

  • Vikings' Harrison Hand: Won't play Week 3

The Vikings listed Hand (hamstring) as out for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Hand was activated off the COVID-19 list Friday, but he still hasn't shaken the hamstring injury that caused him to miss Week 2. The 2020 fifth-round pick has primarily operated in a special-teams capacity for the Vikings this season, so his absence shouldn't have an effect on Minnesota's defensive rotations.

  • Vikings' Harrison Hand: Activated off COVID-19 list

The Vikings activated Hand (hamstring) off the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Hand spent only two days on the COVID-19 list and will push to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. The 2020 fifth-round pick was unavailable for Week 2 with a hamstring injury, but it's unclear if he is still dealing with the issue. Hand operated primarily in a special-teams capacity during Week 1.

  • Vikings' Harrison Hand: Selected by Minnesota

The Vikings selected Hand in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 169th overall. More secondary help continues to join the Vikings, this time from Temple. Hand is likely no more than a depth piece considering his average athleticism and less-than-ideal collegiate tape, but Minnesota desperately needed help in the back four, and Hand should, well, lend a hand in that area.
