    Philadelphia released Quarterman on Sunday. Quarterman had been competing for a depth linebacker role with the Eagles, but he'll now need to look for an opportunity elsewhere. The 26-year-old spent his first four seasons with the Jaguars, and he suited up in all 17 regular-season games each year from 2021 to 2023. However, Quarterman played almost exclusively on special teams last season, logging only eight defensive snaps.

    Quarterman will draw the start in place of Myles Jack (oblique) Sunday in London versus the Dolphins, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports. The 23-year-old has operated as a depth piece for the Jaguars defense this season, making nine tackles through five games.
