  • Brady Breeze: Gets shot with Carolina

Breeze (undisclosed) will try out for the Panthers this weekend, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports. The 2021 sixth-round pick from Oregon was dropped by the Browns with an undisclosed injury in late August 2024, but his forthcoming tryout with the Panthers this weekend suggests he's moved past the issue. Breeze most recently appeared in an NFL regular-season game with Lions in 2022, playing 40 special-teams snaps and failing to record a stat across two contests.

  • Brady Breeze: Let go by Cleveland

Breeze (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Browns on Tuesday. Breeze suffered an undisclosed injury at some point during training camp and the preseason, ultimately ending up on IR with Cleveland. He'll now have the opportunity to pass a physical and sign elsewhere ahead of the 2024 campaign.

  • Browns' Brady Breeze: Moves to injured reserve

Cleveland reverted Breeze (undisclosed) to injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Breeze went unclaimed after being waived/injured Friday, and he's consequently moved to IR. The safety is now set to miss the entire 2024 season unless he and the Browns reach an injury settlement. Breeze had stood out in Cleveland's first preseason game with a team-leading 10 tackles (seven solo), including one sack.

  • Lions' Brady Breeze: Competing for backup role

Breeze is in the mix for a backup job at safety, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. DeShon Elliott is the favorite to join Tracy Walker in the starting lineup, but second-year Oregon product Breeze appears to be competing with Ifeatu Melifonwu and C.J. Moore for snaps behind them. While second-round draft pick Kerby Joseph should also be in the fold before long, Breeze ultimately seems to have a good shot at a roster spot this fall.

  • Titans' Brady Breeze: Shifts to COVID list

Breeze (ankle) was transferred to the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after testing positive for the virus, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Breeze was placed on injured reserve late last week, but he now has to contend with COVID-19. The 23-year-old will revert to injured reserve once he clears the health and safety protocols, and he'll remain there for at least the first three games of the season.

  • Titans' Brady Breeze: Placed on IR

Breeze (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Breeze sustained an ankle injury in the Titans' preseason opener against Atlanta on Aug. 13. The specifics of the injury still aren't known, but he'll be forced to miss at least the first three weeks of the season.

  • Titans' Brady Breeze: Suffers ankle injury

Breeze is questionable to return to Friday's preseason game against Atlanta due to an ankle injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Breeze was shaken up just before halftime and had to be helped off the field before he was carted away on the sidelines. The severity of the 2021 sixth-rounder's injury isn't yet clear, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Titans hold him out for the remainder of the exhibition game.
