  • Ravens' Ethan Pocic: Leaves practice with ankle issue

Pocic (ankle) exited Sunday's practice early, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Pocic limped off the field during Sunday's session after suffering an injury to his left ankle. The center had surgery for his left Achilles in December, so any extra strain allocated to the leg may be problematic. The team will likely be very careful with Lamar Jackson's new starting center, and it is unclear how long it will hold him out of practice.

  • Browns' Ethan Pocic: Placed on injured reserve

The Browns placed Pocic (Achilles) on injured reserve Tuesday. Pocic suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in last Sunday's loss to the Titans. The center becomes a free agent this offseason, so an Achilles tendon rupture, which will have him on the mend for nine months, is a serious blow to potential contract negotiations. Luke Wypler will likely finish out the season as the Browns' starting center.

The former's absence ensures the Browns will have their ninth different starting offensive-line combination when they face the Bears in Week 15. Pocic will become a free agent this coming offseason. The lineman will face at least a nine-month recovery window.
