  • Cameron Erving: Works out with Denver

    The Broncos hosted Erving (leg) for a tryout Thursday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports. The Broncos are looking to fill the void left by Mike McGlinchey, who was placed on injured reserve Wednesday due to an MCL sprain. Erving was let go from the Texans' practice squad Sept. 14 with an injury settlement, and the 2015 first-round pick will look to catch on with the Broncos now that he's fully healthy.

    Erving (leg) was cut from the Texans' practice squad with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Erving was slated to miss the entire 2024 campaign, but he will now be free to find a new opportunity once his health allows it. The veteran offensive lineman most recently appeared in three games for the Saints in 2023.

Erving left the Panthers' preseason opener early with an ankle injury, but he appears to be healthy, as Carolina didn't cut him with an injury designation.
