Kirill Kaprizov LW | MIN
Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Reaches 500 career points Sunday
Kaprizov scored an empty-net goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.
Kaprizov reached 500 career NHL points with his league-leading 15th goal of the season, becoming the second Wild player to reach the milestone. He did it in 413 games, tying Evgeni Malkin for the fourth-fastest mark among active players. Records aside, Kaprizov remains one of the best fantasy options regardless of the format due to his scoring ability and overall involvement as a key player for Minnesota. In addition to scoring 15 goals and tallying 25 points in just 16 games, Kaprizov is also averaging 3.3 shots on goal per game.

Maxim Shabanov RW | MIN
Wild's Max Shabanov: Scores with man advantage
Shabanov scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals. He took five shots on goal and added two hits.
Shabanov restored Minnesota's two-goal advantage with 2:23 left in regulation. The tally was his fifth of the season and gave the Wild breathing room following Washington's second-period comeback attempt. Shabanov has strong fantasy upside due to his involvement on the man advantage and has been seeing the puck well lately, scoring in three of his last four appearances.

Hayden Hodgson RW | OTT
Senators' Hayden Hodgson: Finishes serving suspension
Hodgson has finished serving his two-game suspension for his boarding infraction against the Kings' Brandt Clarke following Sunday's loss to Anaheim.
Hodgson was unavailable for the Senators' back-to-back set over the weekend that included matchups against San Jose on Saturday and against the Ducks on Sunday. However, the 30-year-old should be available moving forward, beginning with Wednesday's game in Buffalo. Across five appearances to begin the regular season, Hodgson has been held scoreless with 24 PIM, 13 hits and a blocked shot while averaging 5:06 of ice time.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Wild's Quinn Hughes: Opens scoring Sunday
Hughes scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.
Hughes gave Minnesota an early advantage just 3:42 into the first period, skating into the high slot before beating Logan Thompson for his fifth goal of the season. The defenseman continues to contribute offensively from the blue line, and his ability to create scoring chances independently complements his established playmaking skills. The goal also extended Hughes' point streak to five games, giving him eight points (three goals, five assists) over that span.

Stuart Skinner G | WPG
Jets' Stuart Skinner: Pulled after allowing five goals
Skinner stopped 12 of 17 shots before being replaced in Sunday's 7-0 loss to the Hurricanes.
Skinner endured another difficult outing, surrendering five goals before being pulled at 9:09 of the second period. It was the second straight start in which he allowed five goals and was pulled from the game. Winnipeg has now lost nine straight games, and Skinner's recent struggles have significantly damaged his fantasy reliability. His starting opportunities could come under increased scrutiny if his efficiency doesn't improve.
-
Clay Stevenson G | WPG
Jets' Clay Stevenson: Concedes twice in relief appearance
Stevenson stopped 13 of 15 shots in Sunday's 7-0 loss to the Hurricanes after replacing Stuart Skinner midway through the second period.
Stevenson entered with Winnipeg trailing 5-0 and surrendered two third-period goals, including a power-play tally by Mark Jankowski. Stevenson carries considerable fantasy risk any time he starts, given the Jets' defensive struggles this season. The 27-year-old netminder has gone 1-3-0 with a 3.61 GAA and an .870 save percentage in his five appearances this season.

Justin Brazeau RW | PIT
Penguins' Justin Brazeau: Back from conditioning loan
Brazeau (lower body) was recalled from his conditioning assignment with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.
Brazeau had one assist and one shot on net during his two-game conditioning loan in the minors. While his availability for Tuesday's game against Vegas is unclear, he is likely close to making his NHL season debut after suffering a lower-body injury during the preseason.
-
Alex Bump LW | PHI
Flyers' Alex Bump: Sent to minors
Bump was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Bump spent the past two weeks with the NHL club, and he was held scoreless with nine hits and two blocked shots while averaging 13:39 of ice time across five appearances during his stint with the Flyers. However, he was a healthy scratch for Sunday's win over Utah and will head back to the minors a day later, where he should have more consistent opportunities for playing time.

Pyotr Kochetkov G | CAR
Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Posts shutout Sunday
Kochetkov stopped all 26 shots he faced in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Jets.
Kochetkov recorded his second shutout of the season and extended his season-opening winning streak to 10 games, establishing a Hurricanes franchise record. He also became just the third goaltender in NHL history to win each of his first 10 appearances in a season. With Carolina playing outstanding hockey and providing substantial offensive support, Kochetkov has established himself as an elite fantasy option. Aside from the 10-game winning run, Kochetkov owns a 1.49 GAA and .929 save percentage to open the campaign.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Nets PP tally Sunday
Jankowski scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Jets.
Jankowski extended Carolina's lead to 6-0 early in the third period, converting a power-play opportunity for his eighth goal of the season. The veteran has scored in eight of his last nine appearances, with the lone instance it didn't happen being the game in which he returned from a four-game absence following a lower-body injury. His current finishing pace makes him an intriguing short-term fantasy option, although sustaining that production could prove difficult as long as he still has a middle-six role in the lineup.
