Flyers' Simon Benoit: Sent to Philly
Benoit and Joseph Woll were dealt to the Flyers from the Maple Leafs on Tuesday in exchange for Samuel Ersson, Emil Andrae and a 2026 third-round pick.
Benoit suited up for 73 games in 2025-26, logging six helpers, 194 hits, 114 blocked shots and a minus-22 rating while averaging 17:18 of ice time. The Flyers' top four appears to be set for at least the 2026-27 campaign, but Benoit should be able to be a fixture on the third pairing with his new team. The 6-foot-4 defenseman is entering the final season of his three-year, $4.05 million deal -- he's scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2027-28 campaign.

Flyers' Joseph Woll: Swapped in four-player trade
Woll and Simon Benoit were traded to Philadelphia from Toronto on Tuesday in exchange for Samuel Ersson, Emil Andrae and a 2026 third-round pick.
Woll saw action in 39 regular-season games for the Leafs this season, going 15-16-7 with a 3.34 GAA, .898 save percentage and two shutouts. With his new club, the 27-year-old backstop figures to slide into the backup role behind Dan Vladar, though he should still see about 25-35 games as the No. 2 option for the Flyers.

Flyers' Jacob Gaucher: Extends for one year
Gaucher signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on Thursday, per PuckPedia.
Gaucher logged 20 goals and 36 points over 69 regular-season outings with AHL Lehigh Valley. He also made four appearances with the Flyers during the regular season, and he was up with the big club as part of the team's Black Aces during the postseason. The 25-year-old will likely be a depth option for 2026-27, though he may spend most of the campaign with the Phantoms.

Flyers' Ilya Pautov: Inks entry-level deal
Pautov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Philadelphia on Monday.
During the 2025-26 campaign with Krasnaya Armiya Moskva of the MHL, Pautov registered 10 goals and 23 points in 30 regular-season games before adding four goals and 10 points in nine playoff outings. He also had one goal and four assists in 25 regular-season contests for Zvezda Moskva of the VHL in 2025-26. The Flyers selected Pautov with the No. 173rd overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Lands one-year contract extension
Kolosov signed a one-year, $850,000 contract extension with the Flyers on Friday.
Kolosov made just four appearances for the NHL club during the 2025-26 campaign. He spent most of his time with AHL Lehigh Valley, going 15-21-2 with a 2.98 GAA and .895 save percentage across 38 appearances. He could have the opportunity to compete for more appearances with the Flyers next year, though Dan Vladar will be back with the organization, while Samuel Ersson is slated to be a restricted free agent during the offseason.

Flyers' Nikita Grebenkin: Could miss start of season
Grebenkin (upper body) may not be ready for the start of the 2026-27 campaign, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports Thursday.
Grebenkin has been sidelined since March 21 versus the Sharks due to his upper-body problem, a stretch of 23 games that included the playoffs as well. Before getting hurt, the 23-year-old winger was mired in a 16-game goal drought, notching a mere three helpers along the way. Even when healthy, Grebenkin could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.

Flyers' Noah Cates: Won't need surgery
Cates will not need to have a procedure for the foot injury he sustained during the 2026 playoffs, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports on Tuesday.
Cates told reporters during the Flyers' postseason press conference Tuesday that he probably would not have been able to return in the playoffs, even if the team had advanced past the second round. While he won't need surgery for his foot injury, O'Connor noted that Cates will be sidelined for around a month. As such, Cates should more than likely be ready for the start of the 2026-27 campaign, barring any setbacks.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Expected to be ready for 2026-27
Tippett was contending with several injuries, including a sports hernia, during the 2026 postseason, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports Monday.
Kurz noted that there should be further clarification on Tippett's status soon, but the 27-year-old winger is expected be ready for training camp ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Tippett missed the entirety of the Flyers' second-round series defeat to the Hurricanes due to his injuries. The Ontario native finished with 51 points over 81 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season, two shy of matching his career high of 53 points from 2023-24. He should have plenty of opportunities to best that total in the years to come as a key part of Philadelphia's top six.

Flyers' Porter Martone: Plenty of upside ahead of 2026-27
Martone tallied an assist Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference second round.
Martone made an immediate impact after turning pro. He put up 10 points (four goals, six assists) in nine regular-season games and added five points (two goals, three assists) in 10 playoff games. Martone won't turn 20 until after the 2026-27 season begins, and he already looks like a veteran.

Flyers' Alex Bump: Gets second goal of postseason
Bump scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second round.
Bump's goal tied the game 2-2 in the third period. It was his second of the postseason; his first came in his playoff debut Oct. 27 against the Penguins. Bump was skating on the Flyers' top line due to Owen Tippett being out with an undisclosed injury. Like the Flyers' other young players, Bump gained some valuable playoff experience in the four-game sweep by the Canes, which bodes well for the team's chances next season and beyond. It remains to be seen where the winger will eventually slot into the lineup, especially with young guys like Porter Martone stepping into the lineup so quickly and effectively.

Flyers' Tyson Foerster: Nets first NHL playoff goal
Foerster scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Carolina in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second round.
It was his first career NHL playoff goal (10 games). Foerster and the Flyers scored just five goals in the four-game sweep by the Canes. This postseason was a valuable experience for the inexperienced orange and black. Watch for the pride of Alliston, Ontario to be healthy and ready to take his goal scoring to the next level in 2026-27. Foerster had 13 in just 29 regular-season games in 2025-26, but 25 in 81 the year before.

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Ends season in impressive fashion
Vladar made 37 saves Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to Carolina in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second round.
Vladar was the game's third star -- he was absolutely pelted with pucks. Yes, the Canes swept the Flyers in four, but not because of Vladar -- his mates managed only five goals in those four games. The 2025-26 campaign was the season of Vladar. The former member of the Flames went 29-14-7 with a 2.42 GAA and .906 save percentage in 51 starts this past regular season, and a 4-6 playoff record with an amazing 2.18 GAA and .922 save percentage. Vladar has been a solid fit to backstop head coach Rick Tocchet's aggressive style. He's going to be a target on draft day next year.
