Blue Jackets' Sergei Ivanov: Pens entry-level deal
Ivanov signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Columbus on Wednesday, but will spend the 2026-27 season playing in Russia, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Ivanov's contract will technically take him through the 2028-29 season due to the entry-level slide, which essentially means this year doesn't count. Selected by the organization in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Draft, the 22-year-old backstop went 13-11-2 with a .928 save percentage in 29 regular-season outings with SKA St. Petersburg last year. Don't be surprised to see him make the jump to North America ahead of the 2027-28 season, and consider stashing him in deeper dynasty formats.

Blue Jackets' Colton White: Secures two-year deal
White agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way contract with Columbus on Monday.
White saw action in 23 regular-season games for New Jersey last year in which he notched four assists, 23 hits, 16 blocked shots and 14 shots on goal while averaging just 12:15 of ice time. In 107 career NHL games, the 29-year-old blueliner has yet to score a goal, chipping in 14 combined assists for the Devils and Ducks. White's move to Columbus won't make NHL ice time any easier to come by, as he figures to once again play the bulk of his minutes in the AHL.

Blue Jackets' Erik Gudbranson: Returning to Columbus
Gudbranson signed a one-year, $1.75 million contract with the Blue Jackets on Thursday, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Gudbranson has spent the past four years in Columbus, but he's missed significant time due to injuries in the last two seasons. After making a career-low 16 regular-season appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, he appeared in 37 regular-season games last year and recorded a goal, two assists, 64 blocked shots, 45 hits and 19 PIM while averaging 17:46 of ice time. He'll return to the Blue Jackets on a one-year contract but will have to showcase more durability if he hopes to put himself back on the fantasy radar.

Blue Jackets' Owen Sillinger: Remaining with Columbus
Sillinger signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday.
Sillinger made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets in 2024-25 against Seattle on Jan. 9. That has been his only NHL appearance, but he will remain under contract with the organization for at least one more year. He played in 69 regular-season outings with AHL Cleveland in 2025-26, recording 14 goals, 20 assists and 50 PIM.

Blue Jackets' Riley Bezeau: Signs two-way contract
Bezeau signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Bezeau made 24 regular-season appearances with AHL Cleveland during the 2025-26 campaign, recording five goals, two assists and 74 PIM. He'll remain in the organization on a two-way contract for the 2026-27 season.

Blue Jackets' Pheonix Copley: Inks one-year contract
Copley signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday.
Copley had a 2.59 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 33 regular-season outings with AHL Ontario in 2025-26. The 34-year-old netminder also has a 44-17-8 record, 2.85 GAA and .898 save percentage in 78 career regular-season NHL games. Copley is likely to start 2026-27 in the minors, but he should be summoned to the Blue Jackets if Jet Greaves or Elvis Merzlikins suffer an injury at any point during the campaign.

Blue Jackets' Ryan Lomberg: Signs two-year deal with Columbus
Lomberg signed a two-year, $2.6 million contract with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Lomberg appeared in just 57 regular-season games with the Flames during the 2025-26 campaign, generating four goals, five assists, 129 hits, 59 PIM and 17 blocked shots while averaging 9:03 of ice time. After losing out on playing time late last season, Lomberg will attempt to carve out a role with his new team on a two-year agreement.

Blue Jackets' Jack Williams: Lands two-year contract
Williams signed a two-year, two-way contract with Columbus on Monday, per PuckPedia.
Williams produced 15 goals and 38 points in 72 regular-season games for AHL Cleveland in 2025-26 before adding four assists and five points in nine playoff outings. The 24-year-old forward will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.

Blue Jackets' Alessandro Di Iorio: Lottery ticket for Columbus
Di Iorio was the 94th overall pick by Columbus in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
Di Iorio was banged up this past season and will pay the freight for being part of one of the OHL's worst teams. In 45 games with Sarnia, Di Iorio managed just 31 points in addition to a horrific minus-37 rating. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 OHL Draft behind only Ethan Belchetz, who went No. 17 overall to Utah in the 2026 NHL Draft. Di Iorio has been on the map as a quality prospect for quite a while. He has talent, and it's certainly fair to wonder if his stock would have improved if he'd been playing for a different organization. As is, Di Iorio looks like a high-end lottery ticket for the Blue Jackets.

Blue Jackets' Oscar Hemming: Big winger off draft board at 14
Hemming was the 14th overall pick by Columbus in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.
Hemming is a big, talented winger who can make plays at speed. He has NHL-level skill with the puck, sharp release and his compete is strong -- he plays a physical brand of hockey, and he's willing to play in the dirty areas of the rink. That said, he's a bit of a wild card. Hemming's draft year was a challenge because of league transfer rules, and he didn't start at Boston College until semester two. That and friction with the Finnish federation led to him being left off Finland's U18 team. A full season at Boston will show us what Hemming could be. His hockey IQ isn't great, so he'll need to be deployed alongside a pivot who guides his game. That's totally possible in the NHL. The question becomes which half of the middle nine does he belong in? If he can consolidate his game, Hemming will be a multi-category contributor on the Blue Jackets' second line.

Blue Jackets' Mikael Pyyhtia: Inks two-year deal
Pyyhtia signed a two-year contract with the Blue Jackets on Thursday, per PuckPedia.
Pyyhtia's contract is a two-way deal for 2026-27, but it switches to a one-way contract with a $900,000 cap hit for 2027-28. The 24-year-old had a goal in five regular-season outings with Columbus in 2025-26. He also recorded 21 goals and 49 points in 59 regular-season appearances with AHL Cleveland. Pyyhtia isn't likely to be a favorite to make Columbus' roster out of training camp, but he should be in the mix.

Blue Jackets' Luke Tuch: Dealt to Columbus
Tuch was traded to the Blue Jackets from the Canadiens on Thursday in exchange for Hunter McKown, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Tuch has spent the past two seasons with AHL Laval, most recently recording nine goals, five assists and 82 PIM across 68 regular-season appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. He's slated to become a restricted free agent during the offseason but will get a change of scenery ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Blue Jackets' Valeri Nichushkin: Traded for picks
Nichushkin (lower body) was traded to Columbus from Colorado on Thursday in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick.
It's a significant package of picks for Nichushkin, though the Jackets were able to push off some of the costs by having the picks spread out over the next three drafts. For his part, the 31-year-old winger notched 49 points in 72 regular-season games last year, reaching the 45-point threshold for the fourth time in the last five years. Where Nichushkin fits into the lineup at even strength likely won't be clear until training camp, but he should be in line for power-play minutes.

Blue Jackets' Corson Ceulemans: Signs one-year contract
Ceulemans signed a one-year, two-way contract with Columbus on Saturday.
During the 2025-26 campaign with AHL Cleveland, Ceulemans notched eight goals and 24 points in 64 regular-season games before adding one goal and two assists in nine playoff outings. The 23-year-old blueliner will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2026-27 season in the minors.

Blue Jackets' James Malatesta: Agrees to one-year contract
Malatesta signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blue Jackets on Friday, per Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.
Malatesta had 10 goals, 18 points and 87 PIM in 57 regular-season outings with AHL Cleveland in 2025-26. He didn't play at the top level in 2025-26, but the 23-year-old has recorded two goals and four points in 13 career regular-season NHL games.

Blue Jackets' Stanislav Svozil: Headed overseas
Svozil agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Czech club HC Kometa Brno on Wednesday, per Honza Zoufal of Elite Prospects.
Svozil is a restricted free agent this offseason, so the Blue Jackets could still give him a qualifying offer to retain his NHL rights. Still, the 23-year-old defenseman looks set to continue his career overseas after spending the last three seasons with AHL Cleveland. Before making the jump to North America, Svozil played for Brno in 2020-21.

Blue Jackets' Zach Sawchenko: Earns shutout in AHL win
Sawchenko posted a 16-save shutout in AHL Cleveland's 4-0 win over Toronto in Game 3 on Wednesday.
Sawchenko wasn't particularly busy in this outing. He's now 5-1 over six games this postseason, adding a 1.58 GAA and a .932 save percentage. That's a vast improvement on his 3.05 GAA and .880 save percentage from 29 regular-season contests, in which he went 14-10-3 and failed to record a shutout. With one more win, Cleveland will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Grabs six-year deal
Coyle agreed to terms on a six-year, $36 million contract with Columbus on Tuesday.
Coyle played in all 82 regular-season games for the Jackets this year, racking up 20 goals and 38 helpers. With the 34-year-old center putting pen to paper on a six-year deal, this figures to be the final contract of his career, keeping him with the Jackets long term.
