Senators' Ryan Suzuki: Inks two-way contract
Suzuki signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Wednesday.
Suzuki got his first taste of NHL action with the Hurricanes during the 2024-25 campaign, but he spent all of last season at AHL Chicago. Senators' Philip Tomasino: Signs two-way deal
Tomasino signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Wednesday.
Tomasino had just one assist in nine NHL games for the Penguins in the 2025-26 regular season. Vinnie Hinostroza C | COL
Avalanche's Vinnie Hinostroza: Joining Avs
Hinostroza signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Avalanche on Wednesday.
Hinostroza had six goals, 18 points, 31 PIM, 41 hits and 27 blocked shots in 65 regular-season appearances between Minnesota and Florida in 2025-26. The 32-year-old is a capable fourth-line option, but Colorado is deep enough for Hinostroza to spend most of his time as a healthy scratch when the full forward corps is available.

Skoog signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Red Wings on Wednesday.

He also had 18 goals, 37 points and 51 PIM in 61 regular-season outings with AHL Charlotte last campaign. The 26-year-old will compete for a bottom-six spot with Detroit during training camp, but he'll probably begin 2026-27 in the AHL.

Marc McLaughlin C | NJ
Devils' Marc McLaughlin: Re-signs with New Jersey
McLaughlin signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Devils on Wednesday.
McLaughlin spent most of the 2025-26 regular season with AHL Utica, recording six goals, eight assists and six PIM across 23 appearances. He'll remain in the organization for the 2026-27 campaign, but it wouldn't be surprising if he logged plenty of time in the minors again.

Devils' Xavier Parent: Back for another year
Parent secured a one-year, two-way contract with New Jersey on Wednesday.
Parent played in just five games for the Devils last year and failed to register a point while logging 8:34 of ice time per contest. The 25-year-old winger figures to remain a fringe roster option for New Jersey in 2026-27, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy.

He recorded a goal, four assists, 78 hits, 17 blocked shots and 12 PIM while averaging 9:44 of ice time.
