Thomas Harper SAF | DET
Lions' Thomas Harper: Back at practice Thursday
Harper (concussion) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.
Harper was able to make his return to practice for the first time since suffering a concussion Christmas Day against the Vikings. The safety will still have to clear concussion protocol in order to play Sunday against the Bears, but his participation Thursday was a step in the right direction.

Alex Anzalone MLB | TB
Lions' Alex Anzalone: Upgrades to limited
Anzalone (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Anzalone was listed as DNP on Wednesday, so his limited session is an upgrade after the veteran linebacker was concussed on Christmas Day against the Vikings. If Anzalone isn't cleared for Sunday's game against the Bears, Malcolm Rodriguez would likely draw the start.

Avonte Maddox FS | DET
Lions' Avonte Maddox: Full practice Thursday
Maddox (back/illness) was a full participant at practice Thursday.
Maddox was able to increase his participation to full Thursday after opening the week as a limited participant at practice Wednesday. The 29-year-old will likely return to his starting role at strong safety against the Bears on Sunday.

Savion Williams WR | GB
Packers' Savion Williams: Unable to practice
Williams (foot/illness) did not participate at practice Thursday.
Williams took a step backwards Thursday after opening the week as a limited participant Wednesday. The wide receiver was unavailable for the team's Week 17 loss to the Ravens, and he's now potentially trending towards another absence Sunday against the Vikings. Williams will have one more chance to practice Friday and ultimately suit up for the Packers' regular-season finale.

Dontayvion Wicks WR | PHI
Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: DNP again Thursday
Wicks (concussion) didn't practice Thursday.
Wicks thus hasn't practiced in any capacity since he suffered a concussion this past Saturday versus the Ravens. Considering he appears to have multiple hurdles to surpass in order to gain clearance from the protocol for head injuries, he may be in danger of missing his third game of the season Sunday at Minnesota.

Blake Cashman LB | MIN
Vikings' Blake Cashman: Full practice Thursday
Cashman (elbow) was a full participant at practice Thursday.
Cashman was able to log a full session after opening the week as a limited participant at practice Wednesday with an elbow issue. The linebacker is now set to try and build off of his 17-tackle performance from Week 17 against the Lions when the Vikings square off with the Packers on Sunday.

Kimani Vidal RB | LAC
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Full practice Thursday
Vidal (neck) practiced fully Thursday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official reports.
Meanwhile, Omarion Hampton (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, and Hassan Haskins (concussion) was limited, so at this stage the composition of the Chargers' Week 18 backfield has yet to be determined. In the wake of his full practice, Vidal is on track to be available Sunday against the Broncos, but if the team elects to rest or limit key players apart from QB Justin Herbert (who will give way to Trey Lance this weekend), it's possible that Jaret Patterson and/or Amar Johnson will be elevated from the practice squad and see their share of touches alongside Vidal in Los Angeles' regular-season finale.

Dexter Lawrence DT | CIN
Giants' Dexter Lawrence: Misses practice with illness
Lawrence (illness) did not participate at practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Lawrence was added to the injury report with an illness Thursday, missing the team's second practice of the week. The defensive tackle will have one more chance to return to practice and potentially avoid an injury designation for Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Full practice Thursday
Adkins (knee) was a full participant at practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official website reports.
Adkins was able to log a full practice after opening the week as a limited participant Wednesday, moving past the knee injury that forced him to miss the team's Week 17 win over the Chiefs. The tight end will likely operate in his traditional depth role behind Evan Engram and Adam Trautman in Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.
-
Pat Bryant WR | DEN
Broncos' Pat Bryant: Logs full practice Thursday
Bryant (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Bryant entered the league's concussion protocol after taking a huge hit during the fourth quarter of the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Jaguars, which resulted in him being carted off the field and taken to a local hospital. He did not play against the Chiefs on Christmas Day, but his ability to practice in full indicates that he is progressing through the league's concussion protocol. The last step Bryant needs to take in order to be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Chargers is to be cleared from the league's protocol by an independent neurologist.
