    Falcons' Dee Alford: Racks up 10 tackles in return

    Alford tallied 10 tackles (nine solo), a defensed pass and a fumble recovery Sunday in a 24-10 Week 12 win over the Saints.

    Alford didn't play in Week 11 due to a concussion but was cleared in time to suit up Sunday. He ended up leading the Falcons in tackles while reaching the double-digit mark for the first time this season. Alford also had a fumble recovery early in the game that led to a Falcons field goal. The fourth-year cornerback will likely see a larger role moving forward with Billy Bowman out for the season due to a torn Achilles.

    Saints' Demario Davis: Game-high 11 tackles Week 12

    Davis posted 11 tackles (six solo) during the Saints' 24-10 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

    It was another busy day for Davis, who played every single defensive snap for the 10th time in 11 games while logging double-digit tackles for the seventh time this season. The 2012 third-rounder has cracked the tackling century mark for a ninth consecutive year and for the 11th time in his NFL career. Davis' 102 total tackles (through 11 regular-season games) are tied with Jamien Sherwood for seventh most in the NFL.

    Falcons' Xavier Watts: Picks off pass in Week 12 win

    Watts finished Sunday's 24-10 victory versus New Orleans with six tackles (five solo) and an interception.

    Watts briefly exited due to an apparent injury early in the fourth quarter but was able to return in short order. The rookie safety then put a ribbon on the victory with an interception in the final seconds of the contest. Watts is up to three pickoffs on the campaign, tops among NFL rookies.

    Colts' Zaire Franklin: Season-high 14 stops in loss

    Franklin compiled 14 total tackles (seven solo) and a forced fumble in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Chiefs.

    Franklin finished second on the team in takedowns behind fellow linebacker Germaine Pratt (20), registering a season-high 14 snaps in the loss. The 29-year-old has now recorded double-digit tackles in back-to-back contests after failing to get to 10 tackles in any contests prior this season. Additionally, he made his mark on the game in the fourth quarter, stripping running back Kareem Hunt. The ball was recovered by teammate Charvarius Ward, and Franklin is now up to 74 total tackles (38 solo), including 2.0 sacks, while also adding a forced fumble over 11 games this year.

    Saints' Justin Reid: Pick-six in Week 12 loss

    Reid posted seven tackles (three solo) and a pick-six during the Saints' 24-10 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

    Reid picked off a Kirk Cousins pass that bounced off the hands of tight end Kyle Pitts, which Reid was able to return for a 49-yard pick-six in what ended up being the Saints' lone touchdown in Sunday's loss. It was the first interception of the season for Reid and the second pick-six of his career, the first of which took place during his rookie season in 2018 as a member of the Texans. The veteran safety has logged 59 tackles (33 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and four pass defenses through 11 regular-season games.

    Cardinals' Jalen Thompson: Fills stat sheet in Week 12 loss

    Thompson totaled nine tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, along with a defensed pass and a forced fumble Sunday in an overtime loss to the Jaguars.

    Thompson's nine stops tied for the Cardinals lead. Among his tackles was a sack of Trevor Lawrence late in the first half on which he forced fumble that was recovered by teammate Walter Nolen and returned for a touchdown. Thompson is up to 72 tackles and four defensed passes through 11 games on the season.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: Five stops in victory

    Spillane recorded five total tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Bengals.

    Spillane wasn't as productive as he's grown accustomed to being in Week 12, finishing with fewer than nine tackles for just the third time in the last 10 games. The linebacker has been a stalwart on the Patriots' defense this season, registering 95 total tackles (46 solo), including 1.0 sacks, two interceptions and a pass defensed over 12 contests so far.

    Browns' Isaiah McGuire: Joins sack party in Week 12 win

    McGuire posted seven tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, and two QB hits during the Browns' 24-10 win over the Raiders on Monday.

    McGuire got to Geno Smith twice during Sunday's win, with the former splitting sacks with Mike Hall and Cameron Thomas in the third and fourth quarter, respectively. McGuire's seven stops were a season high, and the third-year defensive end is up to 28 tackles (17 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one forced fumble through 11 regular-season games.

  • Cardinals' Akeem Davis-Gaither: Picks off pass in Week 12 loss

    Davis-Gaither recorded seven tackles (three solo) and an interception Sunday in an overtime loss to the Jaguars.

    Davis-Gaither's seven stops tied for third most on the Cardinals. The veteran defender also came up with his first interception of the campaign when he picked off Trevor Lawrence late in the third quarter. Davis-Gaither has posted 75 tackles through 11 games this season and is approaching his regular-season career-high mark of 82, which he established last year with Cincinnati.

  • Panthers' Chandler Zavala: Won't return Week 12

    Zavala (calf) has been ruled out for the rest of Monday's game against the 49ers, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

    Zavala was able to walk off the field under his own power after sustaining a calf injury in the third quarter. He will not return to Monday's game, so Jake Curhan will remain in the contest at right guard.
