Washington (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest versus the Cardinals, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Washington started last Sunday against Tennessee but logged a modest 27 percent defensive snap share. His opportunity in that game was due to Tyler Nubin being inactive because of a calf injury, but with Nubin back for Week 4, Washington's services aren't needed.

Igbinosun is expected to start in Sunday's game against the Patriots, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports.

Igbinosun will get the start for the Bills on Sunday with Christian Benford out with a toe injury. In 30 snaps on defense in Week 3, the 22-year-old recorded six tackles (three solo). He will play opposite Maxwell Hairston and Dee Alford.

Simpson is inactive and serving as the Rams' emergency third quarterback Sunday versus the Eagles.

Simpson has now been inactive as Los Angeles' emergency third QB each of the first four weeks to begin the campaign. He'll be eligible to enter Sunday's contest only if both Matthew Stafford and Stetson Bennett become unavailable due to injury, illness or ejection.

Mariota (knee), who was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Colts in London, is set to undergo further tests after suffering an aggravation of the right MCL sprain he initially sustained in the Commanders' second preseason game, Molly McGrath reported on the NFL Network broadcast.

Mariota ultimately moved past the injury ahead of the start of the regular season, but he'll most likely have to miss time after experiencing another setback in Week 4. The 32-year-old made a second straight start in place of the injured Jayden Daniels (elbow), completing three of four pass attempts for 46 yards and carrying once for 35 yards before leaving the game midway through the first quarter. Athan Kaliakmanis took over under center following Mariota's departure, but Kaliakmanis could move back to the No. 2 role if Mariota ends up being sidelined for the Commanders' Week 5 game against the Giants. Daniels was a limited participant in practice throughout Week 4 and may be ready to take back starting duties in Week 5 if he isn't hindered by his dislocated left elbow.

Owens (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Colts.

Owens tweaked his hamstring during the second half of Sunday's game in London, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return. Percy Butler and Quan Martin are the only healthy safeties left for the Commanders due to the absences of Owens, Jeremy Reaves (finger, questionable) and Nick Cross (illness, inactive).

Elliss (chest) is active against the Bills on Sunday.

Elliss's practice participation for Week 4 was limited by a chest injury, but he's been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. The veteran linebacker has 19 tackles (11 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble through three games.

Jones (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against Buffalo.

Jones injured his shoulder in Week 2 against the Steelers, which prevented him from playing against the Jaguars in Week 3. The veteran pass rusher has been cleared by medical staff to return Sunday from a one-game absence, so rookie second-rounder Gabe Jacas will revert to a rotational role on defense.

Gilliam (knee) is active against the Bills on Sunday.

The veteran fullback has been working through a knee injury, but he's been cleared by medical staff to play after going through pregame warmups. Gilliam spent the first six years of his NFL career with the Bills before signing a three-year contract with the Patriots in March.

Sanders (appendix) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Sanders is still healing from appendix surgery on Tuesday, Sep. 22, though he did return to practice Thursday. Landon Jackson may get more playing time alongside Ed Oliver and Deone Walker while Sanders is out.

Porter is active for Sunday's tilt against the Texans, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

This has been the expectation after NFL reporter Jordan Schultz mentioned late Saturday that Porter was in line to suit up Sunday. The star cornerback will be making both his 2026 and his Dallas debut after being acquired via a trade with Pittsburgh on Wednesday. However, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports that Porter is expected to be restricted to around 30 defensive snaps Sunday, which could limit his appeal as an IDP option in fantasy leagues.
