Trent Brown OT | HOU
Texans' Trent Brown: Unavailable for Week 17
Brown (ankle/knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Chargers.
Brown is dealing with a pair of lower-leg injuries, and he'll now be forced to miss Week 17. In his absence, Blake Fisher and Tytus Howard are both top candidates to draw the start at right tackle in his place versus Los Angeles.

Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: Quiet as playoff hopes extinguished
Gibbs rushed 17 times for 41 yards, caught two of three targets for 23 yards and lost a fumble in Thursday's 23-10 loss to the Vikings.
Gibbs continued to struggle on the ground with his fourth consecutive game of 43 or fewer rushing yards, and he lost a fumble for the first time this season in the second quarter. The Lions' untimely three-game losing streak has knocked them out of playoff contention heading into the Week 18 regular-season finale at Chicago, but Gibbs has yet to endure a multi-game touchdown drought in 2025. Week 18 will mark Gibbs' final opportunity to add to his NFL-record 48 scrimmage touchdowns through three regular seasons.

Max Brosmer QB | MIN
Vikings' Max Brosmer: Carried by defense to Christmas win
Brosmer completed nine of 16 passes for 51 yards without a touchdown or an interception in the Vikings' 23-10 win over the Lions on Christmas Day. He added 16 yards on two carries.
Making his second career NFL start, Brosmer produced very little offense, but he crucially avoided any turnovers while the Minnesota defense generated an impressive six takeaways. The rookie quarterback did get sacked seven times, however. It's not yet clear if J.J. McCarthy (hand) will be cleared to play Week 18 against the Packers in a game that may not have anything at stake for either side, but if McCarthy gets shut down, Brosmer would be in line to make one more start in 2025.

Jamal Hill LB | HOU
Texans' Jamal Hill: No go for Week 17
Hill (wrist) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Chargers.
Hill was unavailable for each of the team's final two practices of the week with a wrist injury, and he'll now be forced to miss Week 17 with the injury. The linebacker's absence will carry the most impact on Houston's special-teams unit.

Evan Williams SAF | GB
Packers' Evan Williams: Questionable for Saturday night
Williams (knee) is questionable to play Saturday versus Baltimore, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.
Williams was a limited participant at each of the team's practices throughout the week, but his status is still uncertain for Week 17. The safety missed the team's Week 16 loss to the Bears due to a knee injury, and he'll look to make his return to action Saturday against the Ravens.
-
Josh Whyle TE | GB
Packers' Josh Whyle: All set for Week 17
Whyle (concussion) has no injury designation for Saturday's contest against the Ravens, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.
Whyle will make his return to action after missing one contest while recovering from a concussion. The 26-year-old will be back in his timeshare at tight end with Luke Musgrave versus Baltimore.
-
Bo Melton CB | GB
Packers' Bo Melton: Questionable to play Saturday
Melton (illness) is questionable to play Saturday versus the Ravens, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.
Melton was added to the injury report with an illness Tuesday, and his status for Week 17 is now up in the air. The 26-year-old splits his time between offense, defense and special teams, so an absence would have a multi-faceted impact.

Shavon Revel Jr. CB | DAL
Cowboys' Shavon Revel: Placed in concussion protocol
Revel was placed in concussion protocol following Thursday's 30-23 win over the Commanders, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Revel took a blow to the head in the contest, ultimately walking off the field slowly as a result. He will now face an uphill battle to being available for the team's final regular-season contest in Week 18 versus the Giants.
-
Jaylon Moore OT | KC
Chiefs' Jaylon Moore: Unavailable for Week 17
Moore (knee) is inactive for Thursday night's contest against the Broncos.
Moore will miss a second straight contest with a knee injury. In his absence, Chukwuebuka Godrick will likely draw another start at right tackle versus Denver.

Yetur Gross-Matos DE | SF
49ers' Yetur Gross-Matos: Limited participant Thursday
Gross-Matos (knee) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Gross-Matos was able to return to practice after missing Wednesday's session with a knee injury. The defensive lineman will have one more chance to log a full practice prior to Sunday night's matchup with the Bears.
