  • Browns' Harold Fannin: Missing another practice

Fannin (groin) remained sidelined at practice Friday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

With both Fannin and David Njoku (knee/personal) having missed all three of the Browns' practices this week, the TE duo is trending toward being ruled out for Sunday's season finale against the Bengals. If that ends up happening, Blake Whiteheart and Brenden Bates, along with potentially practice-squad member Sal Cannella, would be in line to handle Cleveland's tight end duties this weekend.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Trending in right direction

Lions coach Dan Campbell said Friday that St. Brown (knee/ankle) is "trending the right way" to play Sunday at Chicago, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.

On the other hand, Campbell said star right tackle Penei Sewell (ankle) isn't likely to play in the season finale. St. Brown returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant, giving him a chance to play in all 17 of Detroit's regular-season games for the third time in his five-year career.

  • Jelani Woods TE | NYJ

Jets' Jelani Woods: Done for the year

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that Woods (hamstring) is ruled out for Sunday's season finale against New England.

Woods appeared in four regular-season with New York in 2025 after having spent the prior two years on IR with the Colts due to hamstring and toe injuries. Across his appearances with the Jets, he secured one of three targets for four yards. Woods is slated to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and continued concerns about his ability to stay healthy will likely tamper the amount of interest he receives from teams around the league.

  • Isaiah Davis RB | NYJ

Jets' Isaiah Davis: Ruled out for finale

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that Davis (concussion) will not suit up for Sunday's season finale against the Bills.

Davis' absence will pave the way for Kene Nwangwu and Khalil Herbert to handle increased roles behind Breece Hall (knee, questionable) during Sunday's road divisional matchup. A 2024 fifth-round pick, Davis compiled 43 carries for 236 yards and one touchdown across 16 regular-season appearances, while also securing 21 of 28 targets for 186 yards and compiling 323 yards as a kick returner. New York's backfield will be interesting to monitor for the 2026 campaign, as Hall is an impending unrestricted free agent, while Davis and Braelon Allen (knee) both remain under contract through 2027.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Not spotted Friday

Bateman (illness) is not participating in the early portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Bateman appears on track to miss all three of Baltimore's practice sessions ahead of Sunday's night's regular-season finale against the Steelers, which will determine the victor of the AFC North title. Given the significance of the divisional matchup, the Ravens may list Bateman as questionable even if he's indeed unable to practice in any capacity Friday in order to give him every opportunity to contribute on offense. DeAndre Hopkins and Devontez Walker will benefit from increased playing time if Bateman can't go.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

    Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Ruled out

Mariota (hand/quad) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Josh Johnson will start for a second straight week. There's been no indication that Mariota's injury will be a problem this offseason, and he's been a good fit in Kliff Kingsbury's offense as the backup to Jayden Daniels (elbow). Still, there's some chance Mariota doesn't return to Washington, as he's currently on a one-year contract and thus can become an unrestricted free agent in March.

  • Josh Johnson QB | CIN

Commanders' Josh Johnson: Named as Week 18 starter

Johnson will start Sunday's game against the Eagles, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn named Johnson as his Week 18 starter Friday, ruling out Marcus Mariota (hand) for a second straight week. Washington also will be missing LT Laremy Tunsil (oblique) against an Eagles team that's expected to rest many starters.

  • Greg Dulcich TE | MIA

Dolphins' Greg Dulcich: Opportunity knocks Week 18

Dulcich is set to work as the Dolphins' top pass-catching tight end during Sunday's season finale against the Patriots due to Darren Waller (groin) having been placed on IR on Friday.

Dulcich has been one of Miami's most consistent offensive playmakers down the stretch, as he's recorded four straight games with over 40 receiving yards and scored his first touchdown since 2022 during the team's win over Tampa Bay in Week 17. Not only will Dulcich benefit directly from Waller's absence on the road versus New England, with Jaylen Waddle (ribs) listed as questionable and running back De'Von Achane (shoulder) considered a game-time decision, Dulcich could conceivably be positioned as one of rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers' clear top targets. Julian Hill, who has totaled a 14-132-0 line (on 19 targets) across 13 regular-season appearances, may technically draw the start at tight end Sunday, but Dulcich will be the favorite to dominate receiving opportunities at the position.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Dolphins' Darren Waller: Ends season on IR

The Dolphins placed Waller (groin) on injured reserve Friday.

Waller could not get on the practice field in any capacity throughout Week 18 prep, and he'll now move to IR in advance of Sunday's season finale against the Patriots. The veteran tight end thus wraps his comeback campaign, having come out of retirement to play for the Dolphins in 2025, with 24 catches for 283 yards and six touchdowns (on 34 targets) across nine regular-season appearances. While Waller's overall production doesn't jump off the page, when healthy he showcased playmaking ability and a capacity to thrive in the red zone that should appeal to multiple offenses across the league. That said, Waller played out 2025 on a one-year, $2 million deal with Miami and now is set to hit free agency, and it remains to be seen whether the 33-year-old tight end will even decide to return for another NFL season. Greg Dulcich will operate as the top pass-catching tight end for rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers in Week 18 with Waller unavailable.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Questionable for Sunday

Coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Kincaid (knee) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jets, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Per Glab, Kincaid, who was inactive Week 17, will log his third straight limited practice Friday. With that in mind, the tight end is no lock to be active for Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET contest. Even if Kincaid is in uniform versus the Jets, the Bills could elect to limit his snaps with an eye toward keeping him healthy/available for the team's postseason run.
