Ayomanor recorded three receptions on three targets for 25 yards in Friday's 23-13 preseason win over the Vikings.

Calvin Ridley didn't play in the contest, allowing Ayomanor to start as an outside receiver. Ayomanor continued to flash rapport with Cameron Ward, hauling in receptions of 13 and six yards -- the latter of which brought the Titans inside the Vikings' one-yard line. He also played ahead of fellow rookie Chimere Dike, which likely sets up Ayomanor to be the third outside receiver after Ridley and Van Jefferson to begin the regular season.

Lamb isn't in line to play in Friday's preseason contest against the Falcons, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Lamb thus won't see any exhibition action ahead of the Cowboys' season opener Thursday, Sept. 4 at Philadelphia. Since he was selected in the first round of the 2020 Draft, he has four 1,000-yard campaigns under his belt, three of which he also surpassed 100 catches and averaged nine TDs per year in those seasons. Tampa Bay waived Smith (undisclosed) on Friday with an injury designation, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Smith will be set to revert to season-ending IR if he goes unclaimed on waivers. The nature and severity of the 6-foot-6 former Nevada standout's injury remain undisclosed, but if he does revert to IR, the only way Smith will be eligible to play in 2025 is by reaching an injury settlement with the Buccaneers.

Brown (hamstring) went through a pregame workout Friday, John Clark of NBC Philadelphia reports.

Brown has been managing a hamstring injury since the first week of August, with no indication so far that it's considered a threat to his Week 1 availability. Fantasy managers will feel much better if he returns to full practice participation soon, but Friday's video of the pregame workout suggests Brown's hamstring is feeling much better, running routes and catching passes at close to full speed.

New York waived Bly on Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Bly signed with the Giants in April after going undrafted out of Gardner-Webb, but he won't make the team's initial 53-man roster. If New York is interested in continuing Bly's development, however, he could get a chance on the team's practice squad.

The veteran wideout is an experienced depth option, having suited up for all 17 regular-season games with the Cardinals last season, though he wasn't targeted. That gives him a solid chance to resurface in a reserve role at some point this season, whether in New York or with another club.

The Patriots waived Lutz on Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Lutz inked with New England in mid-August to provide the team some depth at wideout during the preseason, but he never had a realistic chance to make the 53-man roster. The undrafted rookie out of Delaware will likely need to hone in on practice squads around the league in order to find an opportunity in the NFL this season.

Chism (foot/ankle) didn't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants.

Chism missed practice time this week, but provided his injury issue doesn't linger, the rookie UDFA out of Eastern Washington appears to be in a solid spot in terms of making the Patriots' initial 53-man roster. Added context on that front will arrive no later than next week, when roster cuts/moves occur league-wide.
