Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Returns to practice Thursday
Olave (ankle) was spotted taking part in practice Thursday during the media-access portion of the session, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Olave was held out of the Saints' first Week 8 practice Wednesday on account of an ankle injury, but his presence on the field a day later offers hope that his absence was mostly maintenance-related. The Saints will release their second practice report of the week later Thursday, when it will be known whether Olave was a limited or full participant in the session. After his 2024 campaign was derailed by two concussions, Olave has enjoyed generally good health so far in 2025, suiting up for all seven of the Saints' games to date while producing a 44-440-3 receiving line on 70 targets.

Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Full practice Thursday
McLaurin (quadriceps) practiced fully Thursday.
Both McLaurin and Deebo Samuel had no limitations to kick off Week 8 prep, indicating Washington's top two wide receivers are trending toward returning to action Monday at Kansas City. McLaurin himself has missed the last four games due to a quad injury but was seen cutting hard during individual drills at Thursday's session, per Commanders writer Ben Standig.

Josh Downs WR | IND
Colts' Josh Downs: Practices fully Thursday
Downs (concussion) practiced fully Thursday.
After returning to a limited practice Wednesday, Downs -- who was inactive Week 7 -- upgraded to full participation a day later while shedding his non-contact jersey in the process, per James Boyd of The Athletic. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Downs carries an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans or is fully cleared to reclaim his role in a Colts WR corps that also features Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.

Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Bills' Joshua Palmer: Sits out practice again
Palmer (knee, ankle) did not practice Thursday.
Palmer, who has yet to practice in any capacity since sustaining an ankle injury during Buffalo's loss to the Falcons in Week 6, is also managing a knee issue. For any chance of being cleared to play Sunday on the road against Carolina, he'll almost certainly need to get back on the practice field as at least a limited participant Friday. Curtis Samuel (ribs), who has been limited in practice, will stand to handle an expanded role on offense if Palmer misses time.

DJ Moore WR | BUF
Bears' DJ Moore: Practices in limited fashion
Moore (hip) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Moore was able to take some reps in the Bears' second Week 8 practice after he was held out of Wednesday's session entirely while nursing a hip issue. The Bears haven't yet indicated that Moore's status for Sunday's game in Baltimore is in any jeopardy, but he'll most likely need to upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice to avoid taking a questionable tag into the weekend.
-
Calvin Ridley WR | TEN
Titans' Calvin Ridley: Still not practicing
Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Ridley, who has yet to practice since being forced out of Week 6 action after just six snaps, has just one more chance to do so Friday before the Titans post their Week 8 injury statuses. If Ridley remains out Sunday against the Colts, Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson and Chimere Dike would continue to lead the team's WR corps.

Darius Cooper WR | PHI
Eagles' Darius Cooper: Practice window opens
The Eagles announced Thursday that Cooper (shoulder) has been designated for return from IR.
Cooper will now begin a 21-day window wherein he can practice without counting against the 53-man roster limit. Philadelphia can activate him to the active roster at any time in that span, making his earliest possible return date Sunday versus the Giants. Once fully healthy, Cooper will resume handling a depth role in the Eagles' wide-receiver corps. He suited up for the team's first three regular-season games, during which time he wasn't targeted.

A.J. Brown WR | NE
Eagles' A.J. Brown: No practice again Thursday
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
Brown now has missed the first two practices of Week 8 prep due to a hamstring injury, but he was spotted working out on the side during Thursday's session, per Bob Brookover of NJ.com. There's an expectation that Brown will be able to suit up Sunday against the Giants, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not the wideout enters the weekend with a designation for that contest.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Back at practice Thursday
Jeudy (knee) was spotted on the field at practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Jeudy sat out the Browns' first Week 8 session Wednesday, so his return to the field Thursday is a welcome sight as he works through a knee issue. The Browns will release their second Week 8 injury report later Thursday, when it will be known whether Jeudy was a full or limited participant in practice. Jeudy has played in each of the Browns' first seven games, producing a 22-257-0 receiving line on 52 targets.

Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Misses another practice
Collins (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
The same applies to fellow wideout Christian Kirk (hamstring), which gives the two wideouts one more chance to practice Friday before Week 8 injury designations are assigned. If both Collins and Kirk end up sidelined Sunday against the 49ers, Xavier Hutchinson, Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel would be in line to lead Houston's receiving corps.
