Ty Montgomery WR | NE
Saints' Ty Montgomery: Gets one touch in win
Montgomery carried once for four yards and failed to catch his lone target in Monday's 13-10 win over the Seahawks.
Top back Alvin Kamara led the Saints with 20 carries, while also pacing the team in targets with 11. Kamara should continue to dominate touches in the New Orleans offense, leaving little behind for peripheral players like Montgomery. The versatile wideout provides little value for fantasy purposes.

Tyler Boyd WR | TEN
Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Another quiet day
Boyd had four catches for 39 yards on seven targets in Sunday's win over the Ravens.
The emergence of Ja'Marr Chase has come at the expense of Boyd, who has nine catches for 70 yards combined over the last three games. Boyd is now the third option behind Chase and Tee Higgins, and tight end C.J. Uzomah is becoming a bigger part of the offense than he used to be. That's a good situation for the Bengals, but a problem for Boyd's fantasy production.

Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Production trails opportunities
Higgins was targeted a whopping 15 times in a Week 7 win over the Ravens, catching seven of them for 62 yards.
Many of Higgins' targets came early in the game, and that might have had a role in freeing up C.J. Uzomah and Ja'Marr Chase for big plays later on. Higgins hasn't yet had a big game this season, as his 62 yards were a season high and he has only two touchdowns, but the target share and air yards he's racked up suggest a breakout is coming soon.

David Sills WR | TB
David Sills: Waived by Big Blue
The Giants waived Sills on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Sills began the 2021 campaign on the Giants' practice squad, but he was signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday's contest with the Panthers. New York was without its top three wideouts (Kenny Golladay (knee), Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle), so the 25-year-old wideout played 25 offense snaps and dropped his only target.

Malik Taylor WR | DET
Packers' Malik Taylor: Comes off COVID-19 list
Taylor (illness) was reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Green Bay has placed both of its top receivers (Davante Adams and Allen Lazard) on the COVID-19 list over the last two days, but the Packers will at least get one wideout back on the 53-man roster in Taylor, who was placed on the list Oct. 15. He missed the Packers' last two games as a result, but he appears healthy heading into Thursday's game against the Cardinals. With Lazard already ruled out for the Week 8 contest and Adams unlikely to clear all COVID-19 protocols ahead of the 8:20 p.m. EDT kickoff, Taylor could find himself somewhere between second and fourth on the depth chart at wide receiver behind veteran Randall Cobb. Before landing on the COVID-19 list, Taylor suited up in each of the Packers' first five games, but he saw more snaps on special teams (77) than offense (24). Over his two NFL seasons, Taylor has put together a 7-80-1 receiving line on nine targets.

Keelan Doss WR | LV
Keelan Doss: Let go by Falcons
Doss was cut by the Falcons on Tuesday.
Doss had spent the previous two seasons with the Raiders, appearing in nine games and catching 11 of 14 targets for 133 yards. He was waived by the Raiders on Aug. 31 and signed with the Falcons' practice squad Sept. 3, but he never appeared in a game. The 25-year-old UC Davis product will now look to catch on elsewhere. The Falcons signed Nick Thurman to their practice squad in a corresponding move.

Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Packers' Allen Lazard: Not eligible for Week 8
Lazard, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday as a close contact of teammate Davante Adams (illness), isn't eligible to play Thursday against the Cardinals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Unlike Adams, Lazard hasn't tested positive for the virus. However, Rapoport notes that because Lazard is unvaccinated, he'll be away from the team for at least five days and will need to continue testing negative before clearing the NFL's COVID-19 protocol. That timeline means that Lazard won't be ready to go by the time Thursday's game arrives, and Adams appears doubtful to clear the protocol. Meanwhile, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) hasn't resumed practicing since suffering his injury Sept. 26, so the Packers will likely enter the Week 8 matchup without their top three wide receivers. Tight end Robert Tonyan, running back Aaron Jones and wideouts Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown and Amari Rodgers are left as the top options in the passing game for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
-
Willie Snead WR | MIA
Willie Snead: Granted release
The Raiders released Snead on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Since bursting on the scene with 69 receptions for 985 yards and three touchdowns in his first NFL season with the Saints in 2015, Snead has seen his production drop off in the years that have followed. After inking a one-year deal with Las Vegas this offseason, Snead wasn't expected to fill a major role in the pass-catching corps, but he asked for his release after he got less playing time than he anticipated. Over his seven games with the Raiders, Snead played just 36 snaps on offense and hauled in three of five targets for 32 yards.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Registers no practice activity
Hopkins (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Hopkins wasn't spotted on the field earlier in the day in the portion of the practice that was available to the media, and the wideout apparently didn't get in any reps behind the scenes either. Now having been listed as a non-participant on both of Arizona's first two Week 8 practice reports, his availability for Thursday's game against the Packers can't be viewed as a sure thing. Hopkins would assuage some of the concern about his status if he returns to the field for Wednesday's session as at least a limited participant.
