  • Patriots' Gunner Olszewski: Questionable to return

Olszewski (head) is questionable to return Sunday against the Panthers, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.

Olszewski suffered the injury on a punt return in the first half and likely will be evaluated for a concussion. If he is unable to get back into the game, Kyle Dugger will be in line to take over Olszewski's role.

  • Breshad Perriman: Waived by Chicago

Perriman was waived by the Bears on Sunday.

Despite being healthy, Perriman has yet to suit up this season, so it's not a surprise to see the Bears move on from the 2015 first-round pick. Last season, he caught 30 passes for 505 yards and three touchdowns for the Jets. The 28-year-old will likely draw interest from teams around the league in search of wideout depth.

  • Devin Duvernay WR | ARI

Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Should maintain top-three WR role

Duvernay is expected to retain a top-three spot at receiver for the Ravens in Sunday's game against the Vikings, joining Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

With Sammy Watkins (thigh) inactive for the third game in a row, Duvernay looks like he'll be the main beneficiary for added playing time, though he can't necessarily be counted on to take on meaningful volume in the passing game. Over the last two games Watkins has missed, Duvernay has produced an underwhelming 3-26-0 receiving line on four targets while carrying twice for nine yards.

  • Tyron Johnson WR | DAL

    Jaguars' Tyron Johnson: Inactive Sunday

Johnson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Johnson played a season-high 13 offensive snaps and caught one of two targets for 10 yards during last week's loss to Seattle, but he won't be suiting up Sunday. Laquon Treadwell will be available as Jacksonville's depth wideout versus Buffalo.

  • Darius Slayton WR | IND

Giants' Darius Slayton: Set to retain starting role

Slayton is expected to remain in a top-three role at receiver Sunday against the Raiders, joining Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

No. 1 receiver Golladay is back in action after a three-game absence due to a hyperextended knee, but the absence of Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) should create room in the starting lineup for both Toney and Slayton. Though Slayton entered the season ahead of Toney in the pecking order, that may have changed with the rookie having flashed big-play potential in recent weeks. Slayton could thus be a candidate to lose out on some reps if Shepard is ready to go following a Week 10 bye.

  • Vikings' Ihmir Smith-Marsette: Sitting against Baltimore

Smith-Marsette (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Ravens.

Smith-Marsette battled a toe injury earlier in the season, but he returned for a Week 8 matchup against Dallas and recorded one reception for six yards. Dan Chisena has been active for each of the last three games and appears to have surpassed Smith-Marsette for a depth role among the team's wide receiver corps.

  • N'Keal Harry TE | SEA

    Patriots' N'Keal Harry: Inactive Sunday

Harry (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Harry's absence is a hit to the Patriots' Week 9 wideout depth, but he hasn't been much of a fantasy factor this season while working behind Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Active and expected to start

Peoples-Jones (groin) is listed as active and expected to start in Sunday's game against the Bengals.

With Odell Beckham inactive and slated to be waived by the Browns this coming week, Peoples-Jones is in line to see an expanded role Sunday alongside Jarvis Landry, provided he avoids any in-game injury setbacks. Also in the team's Week 9 wideout mix are are Rashard Higgins and Anthony Schwartz, but as long as he can stay on the field, Peoples-Jones - who has logged 13 catches on 15 targets for 228 yards and two TDs through his first six contests - has an opportunity to emerge as weekly fantasy consideration, given that steady snaps could be on tap for him, with Beckham no longer a part of the offense.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

Bills' Cole Beasley: Ready to go Sunday

Beasley (ribs) is active for Sunday's game in Jacksonville, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Beasley only managed one practice -- albeit a limited one -- this week while he contended with the rib injury, but the lack of reps won't prevent him from suiting up Sunday. The slot man is coming off one of his more productive outings of the season in the Bills' win over the Dolphins last weekend, when he produced 10 receptions for 110 yards on 13 targets. The continued absence of top tight end Dawson Knox (hand) could translate to steady involvement in the passing game for Beasley, though because the 32-year-old is nursing an injury of his own, it wouldn't be surprising if the coaching staff scaled back his reps in the second half if the heavily favored Bills are sitting on a big lead.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Suits up Sunday

Bateman (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Bateman missed the first five games of the season with a groin injury, but he has combined for seven catches on 12 targets for 109 yards over his first two games as a pro. Though he didn't practice Friday, coach John Harbaugh indicated afterward that the 2021 first-rounder's latest groin issue was nothing serious and now he'll give it a go Sunday. With Sammy Watkins (thigh) still out, Bateman, Marquise Brown and Devin Duvernay are in line to head the Ravens' Week 9 WR corps, with James Proche, Miles Boykin and Tylan Wallace also on hand.
